Merry Day After Christmas! :D

I don’t think I’ve veg’d out this bad in a LONG while. :snot: Christmas Day :sqxmastree: started at 4:50am because Mike “could have sworn” it was 7am and woke me up to open gifts, haahaa~ So we opened gifts at 5am. We sneak “gifts from Santa” under the tree while the other sleeps. :moon: It’s actually quite easy since he always falls asleep before I do (so that’s when I put his out!) and he ALWAYS wakes up before me (so that’s when he puts mine out!.)

There was supposed to be this big snow storm :sqsnowman: but it puss’d out. :skull: I’m glad we decided to go downtown despite it having started snowing because it soon stopped. :crownkisses: Walked around and visited all the national/state Christmas trees then visited the National Botanical Garden which is the only museum open Christmas Day. :ureshii: Then got home and ate Godiva chocolates & Christmas dinner and laid on the couch for the next 8 hours until bed. :rejected:

I’ve mostly been watch The Big Bang Theory :good: on DVD. God I just love TV on DVD sooooooo much more than actual TV. :fleetheart:

Watched Doctor Who. :toto: I think I need to get off the Doctor Who/David Tennant Tumblrs because I think it’s making me hate Matt Smith. LOL. :rejected: It keeps me living in THE PAST and I was really jaded watching this year’s Christmas special. :?:

I didn’t really ask for anything specific this year. :ruru: All I really wanted was an iPhone but I’m under contract until February and breaking contract would be 400$ (um so yeah I’ll wait!) But it was nice to have everything be a surprise!!! :grin:

As if I even have room for ANY MORE but it’s all quite welcomed and none of them are repeats of anything I already own! Haahaa~ Usually I get a lot of perfume (as in real perfume, not scent mists) but lately I’m just really over using perfumes and rather use scent sprays because they fade sooner so you can switch to a different scent later in the day plus they’re not as overwhelming.

Got the fashion show tank too~ :) Can never have too many black tanks~~ :rose3: This fits surprisingly well and is opaque enough to wear on its own!

I opened this first! It was a free gift with any purchase so I KNEW :;_;: I must have some other Shu Uemura gift under the tree! :ashock: :kyaaface: :D

This makeup pouch was for sale on the Japanese site but only available as a free gift with a purchase to only 300 people on the US webstore. :?:

The box it comes in is REALLY pretty too. *_* :kissyheart: :twinklepink: All the boxes with this collection are very lovely.:twinklepink: Last year’s collection only came in boring pink gift bags, nothing special. :F These, the boxes are so different from the contents you want to hang onto them!

The pouch itself is really great and more than I expected! :kissyfaceheart: I thought it was just a regular ole pouch. But it’s actually really compartmentalized. :skipping: The zipper has 2 large and fun designer charms on it. Once open, you see all the different compartments! It unzips to lie flat with 2 zipped pockets and 2 open mesh pockets inside!! :good:

So the other Shu Uemura gift was THE OTHER PALETTE! The Reindeer Kisses palette! I wore it out yesterday and I REALLY like the colors! :updiamond: I’m always a bit afraid of blue since it can often look very 80’s hooker-ish. :smallcry: I also haven’t worn much colorful shadow this past year. I dunno, I almost think it’s better than bowwow queen, but that may be easy for me to say because I’m excited about using the new palette :crap: I really like the art on this one a lot though. So sweet and coy. :haha:

But it doesn’t end there!!!
Actually something funny happened, :smallcry: Karme sent me a Christmas gift that also included…. THE REINDEER PALETTE!!! Yes. I has two now, ghahahhahaha bwahahah! :good: :good: :good: :faceaha:

Obviously, this goes without saying but, she knows me as well as Mike does and that’s no coincidence, hahahahaa! Also included from Karme, a face mask, kitteh ring holder, wallet cardholder (I only use this type of wallet actually! GOOD CALL!) and stickers + a sweet note that made me tearup :facecry:

Another really super sweet :doubleheartbeat: gift I got was from Veronica! BLUE MOON BLUE MITTENS!! So cuuuuuuuute! :kissyfaceheart: I was wanting some adorable mitts actually because all I have really are annoying gloves :facepalmcry: It’s so sweet she bought these while she was in Japan *feels honored* Also included (besides some awesome stickers, booklets and an Aya Takano calendar snippet) was LUX hair care samples (thank you I’ve wanted to try these line!) and a bath salt with Glenn Beck on it!

HAAHAA OK OK IT’S NOT GLENN BECK :blushingcute::mkpoo: but the resemblance is uncanny!! :dizzy: This line of bath salts I remember from Loft but I didn’t buy any! :down: THANK YOU! And it’s rose scent my favorite! :rose2:

OK :star: so a few other gifts include that super sweet smelling Philosophy Marshmallow holiday set, :sqsnowman: glitter eye shadow from Victoria’s Secret, Tim Gunn’s latest book, Michael Kors double perfume roller, new Fossil watch, and the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer gift set! :thankyou:

I love this because I can carry it with me everywhere. It has Michael Kors on one side & Very Hollywood on the other.

A gift from my mother-in-law. It’s quite lovely actually! This photo doesn’t do it justice. It’s a black ceramic watch with diamond cut rim and black mother-of-pearl face. The date’s wrong :;_;:, haahaa, I didn’t set the date/time until I got it re-sized today. It’s black/white/silver which is PERFECT for my current tastes. :headheart:

If there was 1 product I could ever recommend buying it’s Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer. I literally use it every, single, time I wear ANY eye makeup! :lovelymake:

I love this gift set because I can have all the types without breaking the bank. Usually I buy only 1 type at a time. I tend to go for original. I instead bought “Sin” once, which I loved, but got sick of. :kanjicry:

The limited edition “Greed” in this set alone is worth it! GORGEOUS GOLD BASE!!! :heartex:

Looking forward to trying the matte version. Never tried it before.

I just want to wish every one a
Merry Christmas!

Tomorrow is Christmas morning here. It’s supposed to snow :sqsnowman: all day for the next 3 days. :;_;: I’m going to try and get out to see the National Tree and State Trees on the National Mall tomorrow so I hope the snow doesn’t prevent that. :blushingcute: :sqsnowman:

My Mom sent me a few Christmas gifts this week including 3 bags of different candy cane types! :twinklepink: THIS IS AWESOME! :star2: I always want to try every type of candy cane but I know I’ll only be able to finish a single box so each year I have to choose which ones I want. Now I can try all these other flavors too :P

She sent Jelly Belly jelly bean flavored, Sweet Tart flavored, and Sour Punch straw flavored!

A gift from work. :mkpoo: I don’t really drink wine ever but it’s good to have a bottle on hand for cooking or parties so it’s still a nice gift :laughingheart:
