I just want to wish every one a
Merry Christmas!
Tomorrow is Christmas morning here. It’s supposed to snow 
all day for the next 3 days. 
I’m going to try and get out to see the National Tree and State Trees on the National Mall tomorrow so I hope the snow doesn’t prevent that. 
My Mom sent me a few Christmas gifts this week including 3 bags of different candy cane types! 
THIS IS AWESOME! 
I always want to try every type of candy cane but I know I’ll only be able to finish a single box so each year I have to choose which ones I want. Now I can try all these other flavors too 
She sent Jelly Belly jelly bean flavored, Sweet Tart flavored, and Sour Punch straw flavored!
A gift from work.
I don’t really drink wine ever but it’s good to have a bottle on hand for cooking or parties so it’s still a nice gift

Now I’m off to dig into the vegetable party platter I bought for me & me only to enjoy on Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas! I hope you’re enjoying it! Hehe, I remember my DC trip this summer when we were visiting the White House and the tour guide pointed out the national Christmas tree. I thought he was kidding, but it turned out he was serious. It was a sad and old, yet adorable tree. Maybe it looks better now.
It’s always decorated kinda… hum.. kitschy, haahaa! I think the capitol Christmas tree is better and far less crowded

Christmas seems like a big happening there, in America. It KIND OF is here but not as big as there, it must be lots of fun. So I hope you have a great time
I’m the same, I can only eat like 1 peppermint one a year & that’s it! We’ve always had peppermint versions & cherry versions but only a few years ago did they expand to include popular candy flavors!!
In the US I think our calendar year REVOLVES around Christmas, seriously, it’s our BIGGEST day of the year here
