I’m Back from Ocean City

The world is crazy. Crazy like getting stuck behind a familiar neighborhood car 3 hours away from said neighborhood.:x This sorta sums up my weekend full of strange coincidences and familiar feelings. In all. It was lovely and too short :) Every year we go once or twice to the beach when possible. :ok:
Being back though, I feel re-energized. :deco4: Despite my slightly twisted ankle from running on a pitch black beach at night. :deco13:
I don’t have many photos. I took a sort of break from it. :dizzy: Though I do have a few of my MUST HAVE spiced shrimp! ::9:
I get this every trip to Ocean City. :hungry:
I ate this stupid caramel popcorn all weekend long. Mike JUST HAD TO GET IT. :dizzy: It’s so delicious… it’s so addictive! :ok: On the left are coconut pancakes from “Happy Jacks” :deco8: pancake house. Not only are coconut flakes cooked into the pancakes, but they substitute with coconut milk too! Also, this place has Sugar Free syrup upon request if you’re interested… ^_^
I ended up doing a little shopping. Couldn’t help myself. :;_;: South Moon Under has a store out there too and I’ve been shopping at them a lot recently. I used to not care for their stock but the past year we’ve sorta been meeting halfway. :deco2: They’ve gotten in more of what I like and I’ve changed my tastes a bit too. They have a better selection of Marc by Marc Jacobs goods than the local department stores plus Free People, French Connection, Minnetonka, Frye, House of Harlow, etc. :ok: :deco10:
Ok, ok I tweeted that I tried on this dress. I ended up getting it in black! Gonna wear it to work tomorrow with black opaque tights and black shoes. Let’s see if it draws too much attention lol. :!?: I wore my pink blush dress for casual Friday with jeggings and a long cardigan but it got a bit more stares than I had anticipated :?::x hahahahaa
While I was gone PopSister finally arrived. And someone asked if Used Mix changed to monthly. I didn’t notice until they asked, but looking at the very back of my recent issue they HAVE changed I think! Not to monthly, BUT to bi-monthly (every other month.) So instead of 4 a year there will now be 6 :D. There was the February (winter) issue, then a May issue that wasn’t labeled as “spring” officially. Then a July issue! And in the July issue there was this on the last page announcing the next issue will be out in July and will be a September issue!
Also there’s a Used Mix Ameblo Blog and twitter now. :deco3:

whoo vacation for jenny! lol is that the denim target dress? (the one we both bought last summer) i don’t have an iron here in korea so the sleeves on mine are always eff’d up ~.~

UGH, THE SEAFOOD LOOKS SO GOOD. I love eatting beside an ocean/beach.
I get a bit weirded out by those stares sometimes. :C Or my friends will comment on how I put on “too much” blush. Maybe I’ll learn to ignore it one day…

Awww I went to OC 2 weeks ago! I had a great time too…so nice to get away but still be so close to home :) hard to come back to work though ;A;

I love that mag – I’m thinking of starting the subscription service to a few mags since the store I used to buy all my mags from stopped selling mags altogether T________T I haven’t bought mags in at least 6 months because of that!!! 2 Quick questions about the service you use- do they draw the shipping funds at the same time every month? Do they notify you when they ship a new issue?

I’ve only been to Ocean City once when we went to visit my mom’s bestie in MD years and yeaaaars ago but I really enjoyed it. I was born and raised in New Jersey so looking at the photos makes me super nostalgic for East Coast beaches. Unfortunately I don’t know when I’ll get to go again but…
