Inspiration from Flower

Tuesday, September 13th, 2011 | 38 Comments

I don’t have much time to blog today (family visiting) but I did have a chance to group together some inspiration from the clothing boutique Flower.” It’s an import shop often featured in Used Mix, SEDA, Kansai Girl’s Style, and 古着MIXガールス magazines. It’s also popular among the asbs models, etc. etc. The store itself focuses on love & joy derived from the flower-child age but made into more of natural girly and casual styles. Emphasis on “casual,” haha~ I really love the hair accessories they sell here too! They have 5 shops with the newest being a Lumine EST shop in Shinjuku. These images are from their web shop which is a partner with Tenso for international shipping. I’m so in love with these shops!

OK, lots of images below!

I just love the style! It looks so feminine and casual~ The flower layered blouse it’s cute and the dotted dress it’s my favorite. Even the iPhone cases look dreamy. Good luck with everything!

Ah I’m glad, I’m glad! I know not everyone is into such girly casual looks lately but I just can’t get enough of it! I love the flower layered blouse too, it’s one of my favorites!

Loving the lace + plaid pieces & the hair accessories~ am I the only one super-happy to see plaid trending again this fall too? I love how it always seems to be 1 season on, 1 season off hahaa~

Seriously NEVER TOSS OUT PLAIDS. It really is a bi-yearly trend. I need a new plaid button up. I’ve tried on a few already but haven’t settled /just/ yet. I love how a simple plaid can be worked into almost any style too. Everybody wins!!

LOVE IT! The detail for that blouse/whatever is so gorgeous! Especially with the pin-tuck detail on the sleeves.

I really like how the prints make the garment look so much more fun and interesting despite the simple silhouette (like the plaid ones)! They’re super cute and I’d totally wear that coin barrette any day of the week. @ A @

I’ve seen that coin barrette in a lot of magazines lately (from this shop.) That’s what I really love about these items too. They are good basics but with some added detail that make them their own

GAAAH~ I want everything! Whenever I go to Mitsuwa and go through the magazines I go bananas. I really want everything T_T So pretty~

Darn you androids. Why don’t you have cute phone cases like iphones?! T_T

It was hard to choose what to post here so I just posted every item I personally loved from their shop!

Which magazines do you flip through? I’d be interested to know!! It’s difficult when you find yourself pulled to so many varying styles!! I’ve been trying to narrow my field of vision a bit lately to what I think suits my current personal tastes the best but I still appreciate seeing other looks too!

Love the prints! I’m not sure every shirt would look nice on me… I have large hips so cropped tops tend to bring attention to them :(

Pretty iPhone cases~  I wished they were sold in Apple Store! We had Cath Kidston for a while but they sold out quickly T_T

The Cath ones were sold at the actual Apple Store!? I’ve always thought about buying one online but I’d rather buy in person :O. I’ll have to stop in there more often!

Oh my goodness, this shirt (http://sushi-cat.net/pics/9_13_11_9.jpg) is perfect! I probably won’t stop obsessing about it until it’s in my hands! haha. Thanks for sharing~

Isn’t it fun!? It’s like… as silly as it is cute. A basic shirt but with a fun knit twist!

Those shirts are indeed casual but it’s a bit too flowery for me, not something I’d want to wear. lol. The hair accessories are cute though.

That’s how I felt with my Blackberry. Apple just really pushed phone covers, it’s extraordinary if you think about it!

They ship internationally? o___o Hurray! It’s just… the web shop is mostly in Japanese… Darn it. Can you read japanese Jenny? Or did you find a way to get it in english?

jenny said

Yeah using Tenso shopping service but not like directly-directly. I can read some Japanese, there’s no real English on the site, sorry :(

Yeah that outfit is one of my favorites from them. Just the top alone has nice details. I didn’t really realize how summery these looks were but today it’s so cold & getting autumn here reality is dawning on me LOL.
