Mid-January
Wednesday January 16, 2013
Amazing it’s already mid-January.
Sunday was probably the last “nice” day here and even that was drizzling and foggy. I woke up to Mike cooking crepes for the first time. They turned out better than perfect. Some of the best tasting crepes I’ve ever tried. I even just ate one plain. Plus he used skim milk, egg beaters, and granulated Splenda making each crepe less than 50 calories a piece. :deco2:

I added fresh fruit, drizzled honey, and a spot of fat free whipped cream.
Afterwards I ended up in Georgetown at Baked and Wired. Walked around in the fog & drizzle, got some lunch, etc. It wasn’t too cold so it was good to get out and window shop.

I’m a little obsessed with this blush since the weekend. I develop mini-obsessions with my own makeup sometimes. It’s useful actually! To become obsessed with something you already own. I say “mini-obsession” because it’ll last only a week or month then I move on typically.

Right now I’m re-obsessed with my Coffret D’or peach blush. I was actually feeling a little disappointed with this blush at one time. It’s very shimmery and I felt my pores were lit up like craters! But since then my pores are a little smaller and I apply it differently than before (away from the larger pores near my nose.) I’ve been wearing it every day as it matches all eyeshadow and looks great either heavy for going out or light for the office.

Lastly. Thank you for putting up with my sales post & I want to say that Monday all items went out. Maybe some of you have received them already :)

Wow, those crepes look amazing! I should be more aware that nearly any tasty treat I love can be made in a more healthy way like that. Thank you for reminding me. :)

It’s always a great feeling when you rekindle your “love” or “obsession” with a piece of clothing or make up product you’ve forgotten about. it’s like an old friend :)

Baked & Wired was my favorite cupcake shop in DC! I thought it was better, bigger & more for your money than Georgetown Cupcakes :3

I totally understand this “mini-obsession” thing. When I think about it it’s weird how I can get distraced by a make up product for a while haha The coffret d’or blush is beautiful. I was thinking to buy it too but I had the feeling I have similar colours already. It’s hard though because there are so cute make up products out there ! AH It’s hard lol
The pancakes with fruits looks so nice too! -
All sooooo pretty :)

Yumm those crepes look perfectly made! :)

Ahhh I just went to baked and wired a few months ago! So excited to finally have been to DC and pick up on things like this! :) I think that blush is beautiful! So funny how you can fall in love again with a product you have had for ages.
