Final Selection

Today we had our “Final Selections Meeting” with the builder for our new house! [Where you choose all flooring, cabinets, appliances, fixtures, and lighting.] It was so stressful, but fun too :!: . The 2 things I hate most- Long-lasting choices and numbers. And I had to deal with both today. My main concern is still the hardwood floors. They will be getting their costs to us tomorrow or Wednesday. We’ll then know whether it would be more cost effective to go through them or an independent flooring company. (no advice on this please, I’ve already gotten more than desired, sorry!) We are really happy though. I got the carpet and flooring upgrades I wanted. OHMYGOSH my bathroom is going to be so gorgeous. It’s going to be so bright and spa-like !!

We’re moving late November but it seems like we’ll NEVER get there . I dunno, this beautiful house seems SO far away because we still have a lot to do to get there. Mortgage closings, painting and other changes, actual move in, furniture shopping and more. :( I wish I could just go to sleep & wake up in January 08!
