I find it hard to believe but…
To think I’ve been rambling in blog form here for that long! 
With 5 years of archives to show for it~ Things have come and gone~ knitting blog, CUTiE site, and a shared online shop with Emm! There’s no telling what the future may hold for my happy little space on the web~~ 
So Moussy and Rinka had a collaborate and made a few Rinka T-shirts! They went on sale on the 14th for Valentine’s Day and when I looked at their web site last night they were already sold out (good lord~)

And while on the topic of things I want but aren’t easy to get, I tweeted last week about the new Cher Spring/Summer collection book that was released! The bag is much bigger than the autumn/winter book’s but the color is quite… shocking. It’s cute, yes! In a creamsicle sort of way~~!! I wish it was the color of the cover instead BUT if I get my hands on it I’ll be toting around the bag regardless of my opinions here

Last week, after much consideration, I switched my Non-no subscription to Pinky instead. Why?

Non-no~ I love you… but I’m not in love with you… That special spark… well, it’s gone. :F
In the past 6 months, (12 issues in Non-no’s case) I’ve been completely underwhelmed by the magazine. Even getting issues and only flipping through it once. I’ve been getting the magazine since 2004 and it had always really been true to my “core style” but not lately. Plus it seems so skint~ so many more gray pages than before, and Miho Tanaka only makes a rare appearance as they begin to put my least favorite models (*cough* Makiko *cough*) forward as the “face” of Non-no~
When I worried more about getting Pinky this month than picking up my latest issue Of Non-no I knew I needed to make a switch. I’ll still probably pick up Non-no if they continue to get it in but I feel better about having an issue of Pinky waiting on me.
I :sketchheart: Pinky~ I like the models ( Nozomi & Yukina and they often feature Suzanne!) and the style~ A bit like Vivi meets Non-no meets JJ 
And honestly cutting the subscription to Non-no cut my expenses in half too, hahah (damn bi-weekly issues!)
I would have switched to Vivi but the store tends to get in plenty extra issues so I haven’t had a problem leisurely picking up my own copy.
Before I forget~ here’s the ugly side of Valentine’s Day….
CAME UPON THIS, THIS MORNING! IT’S STEAK FOR TWO IN A HEART SHAPED CONTAINER! I just find it SO disturbing! Hahahah I mean, sure, there were 2 pretty great steaks at a decent price wrapped in there… but to take an image of something that is typically reserved for heart-shaped boxes of chocolate and replace it with raw animal carcass is a bit unsettling~~ HAHAAH THIS IS HYPE IN SUCH THE WRONG DIRECTION!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSHI-CAAAAAAAAAAAAT!! 6 years is such a long time! I feel the same way about Non-no! I haven’t bought it in such a long time, my last issue was the one with the LOWRYS FARM scrunchie. The cover of that was so boring… just plain blue. So I decided not to get it after that D: I don’t pick up much J-mags anymore, my sister made me get her Popteen and I thought that was a bit urghhh :S

I love the fact that the Japanese bookstore I go to still has the Cher catalog with the black bag, and now it has the newer issue. I plan on going to buy both, collect every color :3 I like some of the clothes but I love the bag sooo much, my idea of good design hahah.
The steak is creepy like that, but I dunno, if my boy cooked it and we had it for dinner, I think I’d find it kind of cute! Maybe I’m just weird.
Yeah, I donate blood whenever the blood donation organization says it’s okay (something like every month). I’m really sketchy of charities in NY, since a lot don’t seem to be giving the money to what it is meant for, so I donate blood, I can help someone in need!

I agree with Non-no. I used to like that magazine but lately, the things they put out on the magazine isn’t as great of their stuff from before. I’m loving Pinky more and more too. They got great styles and the cover’s always so stunning and attractive!

I like the cream color bag (size and the color is different) and oddly enough, I do like the heart shaped steaks. It’s both creative & weird.

Yeah, I also feel Nonno isn’t as great as before. I’m starting to like Pinky more these days. A lot of their items are very stylish.
Uhh….that package of steak is not very aesthetically pleasing. -.- lol I guess it’s a special way of promotion and advertisement.

Wow, six years, and 5 of those are still in your archive, that’s amazing. I always lose my archive….so sad. But that’s okay because my old beginning posts are pretty pathetic so it’s nothing worth saving.

Good choice switching to Pinky. I have never bought non-no but if your finding a mag not as amazing any more it makes sense to switch. Did you hear about Cawaii folding?! I AM SO SHOCKED.
Yea I’m actually quite sad about Cawaii!!!! But secretly I hope Rinka (who’s in Cawaii a lot) start s doing spreads in Pinky or something… lol

parts of animals should never come in heart shapes! (or any funky kind of shape for that matter :/) egg… is sort of more acceptable… I can’t think of any other situation where it’s normal to have meat in a funny shape…
