Friday I received a really cute gift from my BFF! It’s a belated Valentine’s gift with some things from her Hokkaido trip! *_* First there’s this great, sweet snack called とうきび チョコ and it’s basically corn chocolate. Puffed corn sticks in a light white chocolate glaze! Tastes better than it sounds. :puup: It’s not overwhelmingly chocolate tasting. It’s like rice cake consistency with a light, sweet white chocolate covering. Reminds me a bit of the taste of Kellogg’s Corn Pops!
She also sent me an owl glass windchime~ She has one for herself too :D We like to be twins! Hahahaaa! And lastly some more Cram Cream napkins. I think she saw how I had barely used the ones she sent me last Xmas. :skull: They’re just so cute! It’s hard to use them! But she’s encouraging me to use them buy sending more!! Haahaaaa
So when I went shopping this weekend I saw something that REALLY reminded me of her and picked it up! What was it? Well it was a “Happy Fucking Birthday” Party Pack from Urban Outfitters!! When she visited she had me teach her all the “appropriate” ways to use the word “fuck!” Hahahahaahahaaa!
It comes with a ton of stuff!! :celebrate: Like 8 hats, 8 balloons, 8 plates, 8 napkins, and a giant “It’s My Fucking Birthday” badge! :lol:
So, yea, Saturday we went out and did some shopping. I had decided I REALLY wanted a MAC lip color I tried on Monday. I had thought their lipsticks were $24, but only after I left did I find out they’re $14. I can live with that! XD :happylove: I got the color “Saint Germain” ~~ :doubleheartbeat: I really love it. :ureshii: It’s not as hot pink as my Victoria’s Secret lipstick so it’ll be a nice change for a while. Here’s 2 pictures of it. One of the shade, the other with it on me. I’m wearing just the lipstick. No concealer or gloss, just the bare lipstick~ :kyaaface:
I was hoping to come across the Sonia Rykiel Collection at the larger H&M that was there. BUT FAIL. :crap: They had like 1 item from the collection. I really wanted the jumpsuit damnit! :ng:
Took a snap of my outfit for the day while at H&M anyway. Body language says DISAPPOINTED. LOL :grin: But at least it’s finally in the 40F’s so I could get away with just thick leggings, a sweatshirt (with shirt layered under! lol) and boots. :rose1:
After that we ate yogurt, got coffee, did some grocery shopping, watched the Olympics, ate dinner, blah blah blahhhhhh~ End Saturday (haha!)
Today we went back to the mall, though different mall. Mike heard there was a sweet Street Fighter IV Snuggie on sale at FYE~~ hahaha, I’m NOT making this up! And there certainly was! For $5.00!!! HAAAAAAAHAHHHAAA! :laughingheart: :laughingheart: Oh yes, it’s quite ironically awesome. He bought it for the shear fake it was, not only a Snuggie, but a Street Fighter Snuggie! And he proclaims it looks like someone threw up Street Fighter characters all over a fleece blanket. It’s now sitting in the den (his space) where he’ll use it while playing endless hours of XBOX. :P
Went to the H&M there too, to see if any of the collection came in. NOPE. Fail, fail. :facepalmcry: I did see the patchwork jeans I wanted to try though. I had noticed them months ago. First loved them, then sorta hated them (so much going on.) Then I kept thinking about them (should I try them on, hum hummm.) I saw Kumicky had bought them. She’s worn them a few times on her blog and even in issues of Popteen. They’re even in one of her Pocky ads :headheart:
I figured they’d be cuter to wear with just a tee compared to a typical pair of jeans plus they’re super soft jean material! :rainbowtwinkle: Doesn’t technically break my resolution if the item is ALSO sold in Japan right?! :pissy: HAHAHAAAA!! I haven’t bought clothes from a US store since December :P :ruru:
I tried on this pair :!: of black, studded heels while there too. They seemed to fit but were strapped together so I couldn’t really do a full test walk in them… :eep: :facepalmcry: I would just hate to get them home and find that they slip off while I walk. That’s happened to me 1 too many times. They were full price too so I didn’t get them. :good: Just got the pants. :faceaha:

I like that jumpsuit….Oh! I don’t know if you remember, but I mentioned something in a comment about rompers (or jumpers) before, and I bought one! It’s really cute, or, at least it looks that way in the picture. It’s from Forever 21 and I had to order it online because they didn’t have it in the store, and I did so just in time because it’s not on their website anymore. Though, that makes me a bit worried because I don’t think my order has shipped yet… :x
I think I’ll put pictures of it on my site after I get it.
Well I had my jacket in the car but the sun was SO bright I really did feel fine ;). It’s a super thick sweatshirt.

It’s solid, soft denim. It’s shorts though–I’m not sure I would have bought it if it were pants like normal overalls. I’m not sure how that would look…But, I do like how you and some of those models have the colored (and not) overalls that are rolled up and worn with heels–I think that’s a really cute look!
Oh, this reminds me of this old picture of myself from when I was maybe 6 or something. In it, I’m wearing overalls, a pink t-shirt, pink kerchief (over my then white blond hair), and pink keds, haha. It’s a cute picture! XD

We got to the Sonia collection in Boston – but it was so crazy crowded there was no time to look at anything :( I really loved her strappy heels, but most of it is lots of HOT PINK like EVERYWHERE haha

I’m sorry to hear you couldn’t find those black overalls at H&M, I hate when you just can’t find an item at a store when it should be there. I am not into the patchwork jeans, and I don’t want them brought back. But I think you look cuter in them than Kumikky, for real!!

i saw the Sonia Rykiel line posted everywhere i decided to look (U.S. sites of course) and was SO MAD when i went into the store nearby (first time in ages, since i prefer not to torture myself) and it wasnt there!!! I even went on the day they said it would debut in Canadian stores! Feb 21st my ass!!

I don’t really like patchwork jeans ,but those ones are cutee and they look good with that top your wearing with them!!I have that problem with shoes as well,a few place here also tie them together:O
I had to google snuggie,I figured it was a fleece blanket type thing but was unaware it had sleeves(?) Their not popular here in the Uk(atleast not to my knowledge) but my bf does have one.Still a street fighter one,haha!:D
