I thought it would be fun*_* to share my love for this little toy camera app *_* I got for the iPhone 4. I looked at a lot of different apps for adding toy camera effects to photos. The free ones I’ll download no worries but 99cents and up I shopped around. CAMERAtan was the first one I bought and I love it SO MUCH! I haven’t ran into any bugs and the options seem almost endless and very easy to navigate. It’s from a Japanese developer and you can follow the blog here. It reached #2 best selling app of iTunes Japan apparently and was #1 for Photography.

The interface is really fun and colorful. You have 3 sizing options: 800px, 1200px, and original. There are 3 effect patterns. This seems to affect the amount of vignetting with some effects. There are 44 different effects and a “random” choice button that follows you on each page. After launching the app you can either choose to take a new photo to use or choose one from your library. You can also pile on effects with the “Add” option. I love this! I often combined “Flash” and “ToyStorm1″ or an effect with “Film Frame.”

So here is an example of every single effect (combinations of each NOT included, haahaa.) It’s VERY image heavy, so just a warning. This is a box of bath salts I haven’t had a chance to show yet, very colorful pink box! Taken on my bathroom counter with the iPhone
