Lush Meets Rose

Sunday, July 3rd, 2011 | 52 Comments

A few weeks ago I got this lovely surprise from Courtney! Some belated birthday Lush goods all with a rose theme. I don’t buy much Lush for myself, but I think their items make amazing gifts to give and receive!

Amandopondo Bubble Bar

Forgive and forget.

Lemon and rose to help you forgive and forget. Amandopondo is scented with rose absolute and a twist of lemon and orange oils. Each little cream pillow of this Bubble Bar has a rosebud on top to symbolize an appeal for forgiveness.

Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb

A touch of magic.

Tisty Tosty was inspired by the beautiful writings of a literary critic. It was based on a spell used to stir the passions and bring love to you, depending on the state of mind of the caster. With seven roses, if you start positively, it will end positively. Its fragrance has constantly evolved over the years and Simon has mastered the definitive Tisty fragrance.

Ring of Roses soap

Everything smelled wonderful of course! And this Bubble Bar seemed extra luxurious. I’ve gotten other bubble bars in the past but they didn’t create anywhere near the same amount of fluff as this particular one !

I still have the bar of soap in a soap dish in my tub. It’s a big chunk so it’ll be around for a while smelling lovely. Really leaves you feeling squeaky clean. I never really thought about Lush carrying rose-scented items until I got these!

I used to have hated bathrooms too in my old apartments. I usually would use candles as light b/c everything looks better in dim light xDDD, dunno if that helps though

Oh lucky you! I looove Lush products.. I like how they have so little packaging (less garbage..) and how all the soaps and stuff are arranged so nicely in the shop, like beautifully colored scented cakes on cake dishes…

jenny said
July 4, 2011 @ 10:43 am

Yeah, they even tell you to reuse the bags as scented items!!

That bubble bar looks amazing! Look at all those bubbles!! *insert the crazy yellow fish from finding nemo* This makes me wish I had a lager tub so I could fully enjoy myself more instead of being cramped up in my current tub, a deterrent from taking baths!

P.s your rubber duckies are to die for!!! I love the speckled one!

I honestly want to try purchasing products from Lush, but I think they’re crazy expensive! But I really, really, really, want to try ‘em out since they l look amazing.

jenny said
July 4, 2011 @ 10:52 am

Agreed, it’s why I hardly every buy from them EXCEPT for gifts & the occasional holiday item for myself. I think that’s why they make such great gifts, it’s something a lot of people like but won’t buy for themselves. Ya know, it’s a indulgence or splurge!

I am not very good when it comes to Lush products because their stores are so overpowering, so many scented products fighting for my attention! However, these look amazing, your baths must have been heavenly!

That day when I was in Auckland, I went crazy in Lush!. Well..I’ve been wanting to get them since Lush is not available in Singapore.

I must say Lush is not cheap! I spent AU$70+! Which is almost equilvalent to Singapore dollars. Haha.
