Autumn on My Mind

Friday, September 9th, 2011 | 43 Comments

It finally stopped raining today after nearly a week of nonstop rain & flooding. Hopefully it’ll feel like autumn soon & no longer like the rainy season of June.

I know it’s sorta silly that my last post was about reappearing only to disappear again. It’s been a crazy week of ups & downs. Hmmm, it might not be interesting to hear but Mike got a great new job and now some things will change for both of us. I welcome it happily!

Aber… Deutschland. Wir können dieses Jahr nicht gehen. Neue Arbeit für drei Monate keine Urlaubstage haben. Ja… keine Weihnachtsmarket für mich. Aber, dass ist gut. Besser Arbeit ist mehr wichtig.

My iPhone has never been so void of snaps until this week LOL… Hope I can change that this weekend

I asked Starbucks if they put out a sugar-free Pumpkin Spice syrup this year. The barista said no but that I should write the website and “you never know…” So figured I would and saw Starbucks has a whole “idea section.” Hahahah! They must get so many suggestions, the sugar-free pumpkin spice is already up. Though I wonder if you mix the sugar-free hazelnut with a pump of the sugar-free cinnamon dolce if it would sorta taste pumpkin-spice like LOL

Oh yeah, I didn’t find that Zara dress in store (or online.) Must have been a flu-fueled delusion. But I did buy a gorgeous lace top there instead. A top that got drenched by the rain even though it was in a shopping bag… that was in my purse… because that’s how fuckin much it rained on me this week. It’s not online so I can’t show you. Shall take a snap this weekend

Woah I just realized there was German in your post. I have no idea if that was intentional or not, but I had to Google Translate that LOL! I hope the weather gets better~

I love the shoes you picked up!

Haha yeah, it was intentional and sorta calls back to some German I posted a few entries ago.

My Mom loves the Pumpkin Spice series. I bet she would love to have a sugar free kind.

I love your new shoess! rather than that I have no idea about starbuck since I never enter the shop for any drink nor food, I heard of how good their coffee is but I don’t drink coffee so how will I taste their drink products. That’s a shame eh?

It’s more of dodging a bullet rather than a shame really xD!! Avoiding caffeine addiction is never a bad idea.

Yaaaay congratulations to Mike on his new job! I hope it all goes well and that it improves both of your lives!! ^^

Starbucks talk! I feel like I can participate again! haha. Do you use a registered gift card/have a gold card?? If not YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO IT. Get all syrups/milks for free…and come to my sbux, we’ll find a sugar-free alternative to pumpkin spice 8)

congrats to Mike! New job = higher wages = new hope = new life! YAY!!

Talking about Starbucks. The Starbucks here in Singapore do not have Strawberries and Cream anymore! That was one of my favorite drink. Well… I did see it coming as it was a seasonal drink.

Like those shoes!

It’s been raining loads here too = hair destroyed all the time. And not to talk about how the makeup feels when the weather is so moist -___-

Sad you didn’t find that dress, but good for you that you found another one, I love lace!

Oh god, seriously, I stopped doing my hair/full make/and dressing nicely on day 4 of the nonstop rain. It just really seems pointless after a while!

rainy seasons are something romantic to think about but when they actually happen they’re quite the pain in the ass.

congrats on mikes new job!!

This is SO true. Romantic when you can stay indoors brewing tea but racing to work & running errands in a downpour not so much

I am really glad it’s stopped raining for the time being, but I looked at the forecast and it’s not looking good. I am getting really effin’ tired of having wet arms and legs (because the umbrella never *really* keeps you dry, does it?)

As for Starbucks, my favorite holiday flavor of theirs is peppermint whatever, but pumpkin spice is a close second. However, I usually just drink plain coffee since the specialty drinks are calorie bombs! :’(

It sure doesn’t especially not with that wind we had ith it! Sideways rain pretty much =_____=;;

Same for me at Starbucks. I tend to get either iced coffee or a short skinny vanilla latte. Far less calories.

Nice pictures :] Autumn and winter are my favorite seasons so I’m so excited that they’re coming. It hasn’t been raining much in my area which is weird because it rained everyday a while ago.
And congrats to Mike. I’ve been looking for a job but decided to not get one and focus on my school work sadly.
I love Starbucks :] Especially now because one of my scholarships provides me ‘dining dollars’ and I get Starbucks twice a week. I really liked Mocha Coconut but they don’t have that anymore. Salted Caramel Mocha is pretty good though :]

Yum~~ Pumpkin spice! We’re getting into spring now so the weather’s gone sunnier and warmer~ I kinda missed the peak of winter though while I was in summery Japan so didn’t get to wear all the clothes I bought in Dec/Jan :(
Opposite seasons is so trippy!
Congrats on Mike on the new job too!!
