Madewell had a sale last weekend. Whoever said they have good sales, I agree! I snagged some really good Madewell items at H&M prices. I love them. They’re simple but versatile. I can wear them to work easily too which is important since I’m there 8 hours a day/5 days a week. Some days I get home and just throw on sweats.

Alexa Chung for Madewell

Got this Alexa Chung silky blouse for waaaay less than the original price of $135. OK, full disclosure I spent a grand total of $80 on the total purchase. I was pleased. Honestly. The blue stripe button blouse is cotton but extremely soft that it feels more like a cotton blend the way it falls on me. It’s not boxy at all which cotton blouses tend to be on me. It also has a cool collar look but it’s hard to tell in the photo. The silky stripe brown blouse has a great little color shape too and fits my shape really well. And the charcoal cardigan is super soft with great leather buttons, pockets, and elbow pads.
