Chilly Weekend Wear

Dress – H&M, Sweater – Madewell, Tights – TRAIN, Bag – Yesstyle, Flats – Payless

Dress – UNIQLO, Jeggings – Target, Scarf – H&M, Bag – Yesstyle, Socks – AE, Moccasins – Minnetonka

Saturday I wore those extra warm tights from TRAIN. The Onna no Yokubou attaka series. They are incredibly warm and feel like pajamas when on! ^_^ They aren’t as tight as the Calorie Off series which was kind of a relief. :ok: This makes them feel extra comfortable. I really didn’t want to take them off! They block wind well too. In the first outfit my arms were more cold while outside than my legs thanks to the tights. They only add a tiny bit of extra thickness but still look 100% like tights and not leggings. Only downside is they seem to show wear easily. :;_;: The tights are already showing a little wear and pilling in a few spots like on the heel. I don’t know if these would last more than 1 season. Sad. :deco13: I should have purchased two! And a lot of people were asking about the size. imomoko sells M-L. This is the only size TRAIN makes for tights. It’s basically their “free size.” :deco13:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE first outfit! I think it’s cute and preppy…having gone to a christian school for middle school I don’t think the preppy ever really left me! haha Anyway, saved in my “fashion pics” folder! :D
Of course the next day’s is nice, too! I think having some sock peeking out is adorable :)
Oh!! Glad to hear that about the tights! I’m definitely going to put them on my wish list now! (A little pilling, in my opinion is unavoidable anyway!)

Adorable + necessary. cold cold cold this year xD

Quite true. Only the sheerest of sheer tights don’t show wear. My knit tights from last year had pilling too anyway~~

Super cute coordinates! I love winter weather because that means you get to layer more. :D I wish I could try those tights! My sweater tights are practically new though. u__u I’ll just have to wait a bit.

Love your first outfit. I saw a similar look on a mannequin at HM. I was trying to find the dress. Mind if I ask how much it was? I’m in the DC area too. I’m going to see if they have it at Fair Oaks mall in VA. Very casual but sophisticated outfit. Not sure if that makes sense… but I love it :)

  7. Bianca says:

clearly free size isn’t up in the almost 6 feet tall sector :(

  8. Ingrid says:

Sweet outfits!! ^_^ Especially love the peter pan collar, and the jacket from the 2nd outfit looks really warm and snuggly!! :D The weather here is warming up, I wore those Zara heart shorts out the other day and got so many compliments, hehe! They’re my favourite pair of shorts now~~ *U*

    • jenny says:

  16. Aw you are so cute, your outfits are so well-put together–AS USUAL! You look so comfy!

  17. Rachelle says:

You can actually fix pilling with a disposable razor. (http://lifehacker.com/5838136/use-a-disposable-razor-to-de+pill-your-clothes) I used to work in a dry cleaners and would use a pumice stone but that’s a bit too harsh.

I love the outfits, fall/winter are my favorite seasons because of the layers :D

    • jenny says:

Ah thanks!! Would you know if a sweater comb would work too?? I’m afraid because it’s stockings and not wool knit??? But I already have the comb :P

  18. Thanh Thao says:

  22. Tori says:

Jenny looking super-adorable as always ♥
I need to stock up on some warm opaque black tights for winter too… I nearly froze my legs off last weekend in my sheer ones, haha XD

    • jenny says:

      Hahhaha definitely. Or at least wear nude underneath. That’s what I did all last winter but getting double tights on & off is an extra bitch ;_;

  23. Michelle says:

LOOOOOVE your outfit! I cannot pull off opaque tights. I don’t know why, but most of them makes me look short. :(

  24. emmy says:

Hi Jenny, do you think the tights will fit a taller person? The M/L size says only up to 5′5 I think :( will they stretch a couple inches taller?

    • jenny says:

Hmmm I’m not really sure with these because they are so thick. I’m 5′1″ and find I have to really stretch them just to get onto my legs :( They definitely don’t stretch as easily as other tights.

  25. L says:

Cute outfits! I wish it was winter here again XD

  26. Suzy says:

    Kawaii blog~!! love it ^o^

  27. cin says:
