H&M Peter Pan Collar Dress

Earlier in the week I saved the following images of a dress Aya was wearing. The colors and shape were just so inspiring!
Then … I saw this at H&M Wednesday…
It’s perfect, I love this dress!
Color, carefree fit, and sleeveless so it can be worn with jackets & cardigans easily. 
The freakin thing even has pockets!!!!!!!! I’m a pocket fiend. When things don’t have pockets I get a bit grumpy lol 
The black ribbon tie is detachable for a more casual look too. 
Wore it to work yesterday, “casual Friday.” I wore a black blazer with it but it was too hot to wear on the train home so I took it off so it’s not in my closet snap. Anywho~ wore it again today to Georgetown for some birthday gift shopping (for a friend.) 
It was 90F and this dress stayed pretty cool~~!

Love this dress on you! A lot of people have a hard time wearing dresses like this, because it doesn’t exactly give much shape, but it suits you nicely

For whatever reason I remember so, so much from things I see in magazines. Blessing & curse b/c I’ll spot a LOT of items that look similar to Japanese brand items and I’ll feel SUCH a compulsion to buy them!

I think it’s new. I didn’t see it at the F Street H&M I was at last weekend and it was displayed in the area where they put their latest trends, so maybe that helps?

It’s light, it’s a little like a crushed organza dress but not exactly. It’s soft like crushed silk/polyester rather than cashmere if that makes sense LOL. You’ll see. Hopefully you can find it!

I saw this in H&M but they only had it in a European 40 which is wayyyy too big for me. I was a little upset, but I guess it just wasn’t meant to be haha
