It Rained All Weekend
Tuesday March 27, 2012

It rained all weekend. I didn’t get much of what I had planned done but I still ended up being pretty productive around the house. Late Sunday afternoon the rain ended and I went out for a walk by the cherry trees. The petals have nearly all fallen by now.
Friday night I finally picked up new luggage on sale. I had been wanting to buy something new for a few years now. My other bag is twice as small and 3 times heavier. Oh… and I’ve had it for 12 years! :x I decided Instead of buying a set I just wanted 1 oversized checked bag and I wanted it to be extremely light. This one comes in at only 9 lbs and is a 360 spinner.

Originally I wanted some sexy trunk-like suitcase but thinking realistically I knew I’d rather have something I wouldn’t loathe dragging around. So freakin tired of dragging multiple suitcases and bags through the airport for long trips. I just want 1 large checked bag now. So, I’m gonna donate all my old luggage. Oh except for my stripe one, it’s extremely light and extra small and perfect for carry-on only trips!
That’s all really. I’ll end with what I wore to work today. I know I’ve been bad about not listing where things are from, I’ll try to get in the habit of doing it again! :deco3:

Nuance Airy Intensive Hair Mask
Monday March 26, 2012

Had a chance to use the Kao’s Essential Ultra Honey and Shea Butter hair mask I got from Yesstyle! (official link) Wow it does make a difference!
It’s easy to use. Shampoo your hair, rinse, apply mask cream for 5 minutes, rinse.
Smells heavenly. Plus it made my hair silky soft again. I used the mask then blow dried my hair immediately after without using any voluminizing product. The mask really did add volume to my hair! Really impressed since I always have to get body from a styling product. It left my hair smelling wonderful and also added back rich shine. It revitalized my hair color from October too. It had mostly faded and matched my roots decently. But after using the hair mask it was much more obvious in my highlights just where my roots began! Haha. Double-edged sword. This would have been a blessing in earlier months. It’s been a few days and the rich shine isn’t as noticeable now. So I could see how this would be a good weekly-use product.

Essential Damage Care Nuance Airy Intensive Hair Mask
Intensive care for severely damaged hair, without the heaviness.
Enriched with 3x more High Purity Honey and Milk Protein to protect and strengthen.
Shea Butter repairs and moisturizes.
Gives limp and flat hair a light and bouncy feel.
As for the flyaways, I’d say I saw about a 50% reduction! Others mentioned that the Rich Premier version of the mask is best for severely damaged hair. I worried it would be too heavy for my limp, flat hair so I tried the Airy one first. I’ll try the other one some other time. I have noticed less breakage though so that will help with flyaways in the long run.
All in all I really like this hair mask. I feel it did a better job than the Tsubaki Shining or Lux treatments that I’ve used in the past. I also used Aussie 3 Minute Miracle in the past and I feel this worked better.
I’m just glad it worked as well as a leave-in conditioner without any of the heaviness that usually weighed my hair down flat! Plus my hair was nice and tangle free!
Quite pleased!
