Cameras in an Orchard (28) 
I forgot to say in my previous private post (because I was too busy indulging myself in a pity-party) that THANK YOU to everyone who has been there for me over the recent weeks. I do appreciate you, so please don’t feel forgotten. :doubleheartglitter:
Took my film cameras out to a lovely orchard today. It was hot…
but it was nice to be out using my cameras again. I miss it~~ Took the fisheye2, holga135, AND golden half! :*:
Though I really wish I could have been here

Would have been better than getting stuck at home after 5:00 because of rain 
. But I had a really productive day. It was mostly fail EXCEPT I got my lovely friend from Japan her birthday gift! I don’t think she knows about my blog [because it’s just never come up,] so hopefully this won’t be any big spoiler. I got her some Victoria’s Secret stuff. No, not lingerie you pervs, the PINK & beauty stuff! I picked her up some for Christmas because I read VS was hard to get in Japan & saw some Japanese sales blogs selling VS stuff; so I took a chance. Turns out she LOVED IT. So I figured I’d get some of the summer stuff this time around. It’s so cool because they are giving away big free tote bags with any PINK purchase. So even if you buy a $1.50 PINK lollipop you get this cute bag. TOTAL WIN! The sales lady was even nice enough to let me split my purchase into 2 so I could get 2 bags (1 for my friend & 1 for me.) I was really appreciative especially since it was obvious she was having a total crap day

Already past 6:00 on Saturday (19)
Weekends go by too quickly :crazycry: and it doesn’t help when you nap 3 hours of it away… 
I did get up this morning. Not feel so great. I honestly think last Saturday is still affecting me. s i g h. But I laid out for a bit anyway
Maybe the price for it makes slightly more sense now. but wow… glad I got the large cher bag!!

And speaking of photos~ I finally put some film in my Holga135 again!! I’ve missed taking pictures, but after Florida I just kinda set my film cameras on a shelf and didn’t find time for them

Golden Half film camera!
Sure it’s a meaningless prop to her, but it always makes me laugh to see magazines like Ray even using film cameras as props because it’s such a big zakka-like trend. Cancam loves to use Polaroid SX-70 as their prop ‘o choice. 
Oh, and I scanned this in a while ago. It’s just a hairstyle from non-no. My newest, favorite to do actually. It’s pretty easy. I use a hair spritz right before I create the braids to give it extra staying power. I wore it to the DC fireworks and it didn’t fall like most featured hairstyles would! This is an all day wearing do and I’ve gotten so many compliments when I wear my hair like this (surprising! hahaha.)

Food Traditions (21)
Working at home today 
Though I still have a lot to do, I can at least do it in my pajamas. I like when I can work from home, besides the obvious reasons, I enjoy my little traditions. For over a year now my biggest habit is what I make for lunch! Simple pastas using prepackaged sauce mixes! My favorites have always been from the brand S&B. I have tried a few American versions, but they are harder to make (you actually have to cook the sauce mix) and have never tasted very good. Though I did see new liquid pouches come out this summer. Though I like the dried with light tomato paste ones. I’ve had the liquid pouches of Japanese brands & they weren’t really spectacular. 
So, today I have ペペロンチーノ [pepperchino
, my favorite!] バジル [basil] is also very tasty.
