Going to the beach! (18) 
Sorry if this entry sounds crazy. 
I typed most of it up last night but needed to pack so I didn’t have time to “post” it. 
I realized this week that this was the same time I went to the beach last year 
Finally completed my Information Technology Infrastructure Library certification course and took the exam! Just waiting for the results now. 
I don’t really know if I passed or not. 
Here’s hoping~~
Now I’m preparing for the beach vacation! 
I’m sorta sad it’s gonna be in the 70’s & 80’s instead of 90’s. I dunno. It’ll still be warm enough & all. I’m just so used to 90 degrees now thanks to that insane heat wave!

Packed goods!
I’m taking this dress to wear on the boardwalk. It’s from Yesstyle, I just haven’t had an opportunity to wear it much. Same with my coverup dress from H&M and F21 hat!
It’s sorta bittersweet being at the beach house this weekend. I really need to unwind. But I hate there’s no internet. 
I really need to get on top of having a semi-schedule for Tokyo (it’s in a month, gah!) Basically just something to share with my friend so she can plan her work schedule because we wanna hang out as much as possible! 
I miss her so much. The thought occurred to me “what if, for whatever reason, this is the last time I’ll see her?!” 
IMPOSSIBLE!! 
I think we’re tied by the red string of fate. 
I couldn’t imagine my life, even daily life without her there, supporting me through emails, letters, and calls. 
Wow I got off track, lol! And mushy . Sorry about that. 
My best friend lives across an ocean. It gets hard sometimes =y. 
When we hang out it feels like it’s something we do routinely. It’s strange but lovely. 
OK, switching to a new tangent~~~~
I picked up this lilac purple polish last week~ 
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in LIVELY LILAC 
I already have this brand & type in another color (Whirlwind White.) It’s extremely quick drying. (my favorite type, lol) and works well as a base to go under other colors. I say under because without a top coat it does tend to chip quickly. 
But with a good top coat polish on top it lasts longer. This polish is pretty great for speed and application! I only put on 1 coat in the picture below! 
Then I topped it with a glitter top coat polish from Anna Sui…. 
OK that’s it, I’m off to smell like suntan oil & wear my bikini for 12 hours a day

I’m here! (60)
Sorry to be so elusive this week. It was one of those SUPER BUSY WEEKS where nothing interesting happened~ Just work, doctor’s appointments, pms, and so on~~~ 
Tomorrow I start a 3-day training class. We went to find the building Saturday, since I had never been there before & it was a good excuse to walk about the city. 
After we located it (god I hope I can find it again tomorrow, LOL) we grabbed a JUMBO SLICE of pizza and split it!
Went to Bethesda later that night just to bum around. 
Found out this small Japanese store I used to visit a lot when we first moved up here had closed down
*sad* 
Then again I never went there anymore. 
It’s too far and their selection had gone down hill.
The one I’ve been going to, Maruichi, for the past 3 or so years always gets in new things~ things that are even new & seasonal in Japanese conbini! So.. yea~ hopefully that one will NEVER CLOSE or I might just die.. inside at least.

This & That Update (39)
I’m back~ Got sorta sick this week. Probably a sinus infection or something small. 
I took a few days of rest and am feeling fine & fancy free now! 
Boooo to Sunday evenings. 
T-minus work in 9 hours or so. Boo, boo, haahaa~ 3-day work week please? 
Everyone call their Moms today?? Mine continues to suddenly try & guilt me into coming down for my sister’s graduation. Why is this a guilt-ed thing? Well 2 reasons:
- My sister is failing and isn’t exactly sure she’ll be able to graduate (high school )
- She’ll know if she’ll graduate less than a week BEFORE graduation which means I’d be buying at last minute plane ticket price rape time.
I’m NOT buying my ticket until I know she’s graduating damnit. I don’t have vacation time nor money to burn on a “hope & a prayer” she’ll pass. It might be different if they ever took the time to visit me. I’ve lived here for 5 years and my family has yet to visit me. 
OK… we’ll go down that rabbit hole so other time, LOOOOOOOOL. HAPPY THOUGHTS, HAPPY THOUGHTS!

Last Saturday I stumbled upon this bakery in Georgetown called Baked and Wired. Great atmosphere and even greater sweets! I got this sandwich cookie that had creamy chocolate and caramel flavored cream sandwiched between two chewy rich chocolate cookies!!
