Flowers

Flowers from Mike I felt like shit today so I stayed home from work. It was quite miserable. When Mike got home from work he left these flowers on the table for me. They said get well soon and I love you and I miss you and I know you must be bored to death but cheer up. Not in that exact way or words, but you get the idea. They smell so lovely. I especially love the tulips (my favorites!)

Today I learned that I’ve turned into my father. I had called my boss to say I wouldn’t be in and at one point said something to the tune of, “I’d much rather be at work.” And as kiss-ass as that sounded… it was the fuckin’ truth.
