My nails right now
The nail polish my friend sent has amazing staying power! And the glitter is so… vibrant! It’s the thickest gold polish I’ve ever had and every little flake catches the light. I’ve been quite memorized~ especially during mind-numbing things like meetings! Haahaa, just kidding of course.
I thought I’d post my current favorite outfit! I say it’s my favorite because it’s what I’ve been putting on after work nearly every day!
It’s really comfy but still appropriate enough to wear out to the store for some last minute run to the store or post office~ Ah, and that’s my edamame in the background!
I was thinking of getting these shorts. Do you think this style with pockets showing would look OK with opaque black leggings/tights?
Oh I wanted to share this ameba blog. It has a bunch of hairstyles and some with even video. Not sure if everyone’s seen it.
Also, some people were asking about hair buns. I saw this today and thought it might help some. It’s basically like any of these methods only you need to tease the hair in order to get a nice thick bun! Here’s the image.

I love the big oversized shirt plus leggings look. Definitely understandable why you’d wear it like everyday haha~
I personally am in favor of the pockets-showing-shorts! They would look adorable with a pair of boots too I think~

Ooh, simple but great nail art. I miss doing my nails too. Too bad I don’t have time anymore. I usually go to Nail salon to clean my nails only. No nail arts or something.
I like the outfit and looks comfortable to wear. You can wear it for a quick shopping,.

I think the shorts might work with black leggings. You can even match them with brown cowboy boots too. I think that would look really cute! =)

My staple home outfit is an over-sized tank top with Roxy sleeping shorts. Or just underwear if no one is home.
I actually hate when the pockets show so I’m a bit biased about it looking good or not. :/
comfy outfits are the best esp. large tees and leggings!
i kind of like the shorts. but not certain how good they will look if you had items in the pockets though. they would look good without things in them.
Haahaa, that’s a thought that never occurred to me!! I don’t put things in my pockets these days though. Seems all women’s pockets have shrunk to an unusable size IMO.

& omg I *LOVE* those shorts!! There was a pair like that from Siwy denim at Free People that I wanted but 138$… *stab* Those are perfect! & I think they would look great over opaque black tights/leggings~ I’ve actually seen that style a lot in early spring Japanese street snaps this year.

Hahaha yes, it’s poorly designed watering can!! Also if you leave it out during winter it freezes and crumbles, LOL. Mine USED to be yellow! Haahaa

You know what hairstyle I can never get right? The braid headband (not the hippy-inspired one, but the one that goes over the top of your head). Either I don’t have enough hair or I’m just not a very good braider!
I fail at that too! I can only do the double braided entire hair look but not the braided headband. And forget any of the french-braid style ones! LOL. French braiding has always eluding me.
Wow, your edamame is so healthy looking! I heard you have to spray bean innoculant on them to get them to produce more beans. Do you do that?
The cut-off shorts question: I think anytime the pocket liner shows, it’s trashy. I dunno, maybe it’s just me. I have no problem with short-shorts, or cut-offs. But pocket liner is trashy. Slightly less trashy than thong underwear above low-rise jeans, gah….
Haahahahaha Yea I used to feel that way as well. I think that’s why I’m on the fence about them.
I’ve read that too! But no, I haven’t done that. I didn’t modify their soil either which I read can help. Maybe I should but we’ll see~
s2 - I don’t know if jeans shorts could suits well with opaque black leggings, but I think It looks nice with black sheer tights ….maybe it works with opaque tights and cute shoes ^^.I really appreciate your website.(*≧▽≦)////

For the shorts, don’t wear them with leggings [I hate that] They would look much cuter and less you know, trying too hard to look fashionable if you wore them with tights/stockings.

I’m a Web Developer. Full time job, 40 hour weeks & so on. But I’ve got multiple projects going on right now with a bunch of meetings and coding and whatnot, so it’s exhausting right now.

Hmmm, I’m not a fan of the pockets showing on shorts. Then again I don’t like the torn jeans look either. I can’t seem to post on your cell blog it keeps giving me an error message. :(
Probably the “characters must be in full-width” one. I get that a lot but I just switch to Japanese input for full-width alphanumeric. In other words, IT’S OK & sorry! Just a bi-product of using a Japanese site.

That way of wearing (long tee & a pair of leggings) is very popular in Japan, too. Same in the U.S? I like the style.
But personally I doubt if the pockets showing way is OK, because I’ve just seen someone wearing like that the other day, and thought, “o.O, the pockets back fabric is off…”

Eh, I hate that style of shorts. The pockets sticking out at the bottom is kinda stupid looking. And those shorts don’t look that short, so the pocket peeking out seems out of place. Normally its slutty cause that style is usually really short. Eh… :/

I think those shorts would look good with opaque tights if they were a bit baggy or in a slightly bigger size. I’m not too fond of pockets showing but then your shorts are too tight so they… look weird. I don’t know how to explain it.

i think the shorts will look better without tights. having said so, i’ve worn those oversized pocket shorts with big holes, fishnet stockings; paired with loose mickey mouse tshirt, oversized bag, & flats.

I don’t really like the torn jeans pocket showing thing… but I saw a lot of it with stockings underneath in magazine before. I can’t remember which one (try JPN winter?)
That’s such an awesome color combination (referring to your nail polish). I rarely wear nail polish because I could never put it on neatly, thus getting frustrated
Anyway, that’s an interesting way of wearing shorts (revealing the pockets). I would have never thought of it.

Hm… i think the shorts would look cute, with or without tights.
About an hour. That included the first coat drying, then the tips drying, then top coat going on.

Hmm, personally I’m not a fan of the super short cut-offs but on some people it does really look good. So I guess it’s personal preference. If you like them I say go for it!
Jean shorts with black tights? Yes.
Jean shorts with black leggings? Please no, it’s just been so overdone the WRONG way that I think it turns off a lot of people.
