Christmas Shopping Started

Sunday, October 18th, 2009 | 34 Comments

I actually started my Christmas shopping this weekend!! Victoria’s Secret had a huge sale section. About 50% or more off. I picked up another pair of sweats for me plus 2 basic solid colored sweaters I’ve really been looking for this season! SCORE! ALSO picked up a few things there for my friend for her Christmas giiiiiiift! I think I want to start officially buying up Christmas gifts so I can be done by November. We’re driving down to family this holidays so we need not worry to ship or carry-on gifts THANK GOD. That’s always a nightmare. We’re really, really looking forward to this year’s holidays! Going to Disney World at Christmas too!

Here’s the Victoria’s Secret haul~

Also got this stripe turtleneck from Target this week. It’s really sleek and thick so it’s perfect for layering under tees and cardis this winter

I also bought a few other things today on my “must buy for this winter” list! :getit:
I keep running through it in my head, but honestly I think I got every thing I needed for winter in one weekend!~

I really needed 1 pair of non-jean pants. After seeing Nana post cute plaid pants on her blog (with a Mickey sweater nonetheless!) I knew I really wanted some for the cold weather!

Nana with extensions looks SO different~
I really like her hair shorter, personally

I tried on a blue pair, but red just looked better on me (I look kinda blegh in dark blue ) I bought them a little loose too (like Nana’s) since they’re supposedly supposed to be worn skin tight as seen on the Forever 21 web site haahaahaaaa

Clearance tights!
OHHH yeeea!

Also got this pair of slippers I’ve been wanting since July!! They were 50% off today too . They’re all cloth and really furry on the inside and I love them because I can walk up and down the stairs in them unlike my other slippers. Plus they’re great for playing hours of Rock Band or Guitar Hero in because I stand when I play

This weekend was really rainy, so the malls were really a haven without getting cabin fever :bai:

Gonna go lie down now in my cozy fringe boot slippers ( ) and my sweats

Woah already?!?! Sometimes I don’t get it done until the middle of Dec :X Haha, really great purchases though! I love the sweaters, too cute. It’s such a simple way of putting colour into your outfits, not that you need any help with that!

One day I will go to America and shop up a storm during the holiday sales!!

Yea, I kept thinking “god I don’t want to wear this sweater! I need something basic!” because I just have oversized ones and thick cable knits but nothing in between.

Ooh I love the sweaters!!

And I agree about Nana’s hair. She’s one of the few girls out there that I like better with short hair.

Yea! I mean, she’s really pretty with the extensions but it transforms her into something so… generic D:

Ahh striped turtle necks feel so French Riviera!

Way to go on the Xmas jump - clean up at fall sales!! I have similar blue plaid pants but was thinking of ditching them - Jenny, you saved the pants from going into obscurity! They are in debt to you

Hahahha glad I could help!! I should find a bunch of plaid pant coordinates & post em! I was a little iffy on thinking I was too old for plaid but then I was like WTF if old ass Kate Moss can get away in them so can a girl in her mid 20’s!!

Veronica said

AHAHhaha “old ass Kate Moss” made me spit-take my tea.

I think pairing plaid with black or creme is really sophisticated! But I’m partial to the English look anyway

Oh! And thanks for the kind words this weekend!! - yes, I did cry - for like 17 minutes haha (and he was misty-eyed, too SHH!)

It’s about time to start shopping for gifts isn’t it? Sadly all my spending money is tied up in investments… for now anyways. Otherwise I would totally go shopping.

Every time I read your blog I want to go buy something. Maybe it’s a good thing I don’t have spending money now, lol. But the stuff you show is always so cuuuuuute!!
