Rinka’s Getting Married

Rinka announced she’s getting married! I saw this yesterday but it says she’s getting married Spring 2010. However Rinka has now blogged about her upcoming nuptials to her boyfriend of 6 years and mentioned next January instead.
Congratulations~~ 
I think the media was little harsh on her about being an “unmarried loser” and focusing on her previous breakup she mentioned on her blog and such. But anyway 
Hopefully she’ll give some magazine full access a la Tsubasa Wedding style with videos and photo spreads! Haahaa! But given how private she really is, I doubts it~

Haahaa, OK not really but I’m just wondering if anyone is as Rinka obsessed as me because I knew EXACTLY what image I was gonna post when I heard about this!
Today was a pretty normal day. Work was same ole same ole, busy. Came home and popped in one of the Flat Bread Pizzas from DIGIORNO’s. Really good!! *_* We wanted to do something quick because Mike’s all about spending his night playing Borderlands! I might try playing tomorrow. Depends on the post-play report he gives me.
Did get to make it out to Trader Joe’s for some fish fillets and food snacks! I bought a 6 pack of kiwis, I think I might have 1 later. Also picked up some mini fiber oatmeal cookies that are fairly low in calories so I look forward to trying those tomorrow.
Do to the fact my sweats need a good washing , I’ve switched to a new after-work outfit of long black leggings and my oversized skull print tee! HAAHAAA
Don’t I look so tired!? Gah!! My Boscia Amino-AG Eye Serum ran out and since it’s $40 I haven’t necessarily tripped over myself to rush and re-purchase it. Sigh. I hate that the stuff actually works!
Anyway. So anyone else get bummed out by the 9 hours of Poupee maintenance and nothing cool to show for it? Haahaa :F

I know because it’s not like Twitter comes back online with anything cool to offer. 9 hours!? That was just ridiculous. They should at least explain why even if it’s boring “we’re backing up the database” crap.

I’m always amazed at how many young Japanese girls already know they want to get married and have kids at like 21 (!!)
I knoooooow!!! And yet they continue to have a declining birth rate~ It seems if they ARE having babies, it’s very young. But I digress off the topic of wedding! :O
I’m kinda glad Rinka’s getting married AFTER me. I hate to think of the influence her wedding would have had on mine!

I know! Her first big relationship kinda fell apart (the guy was a pitcher or something with a promising career and as he dated her his game went to crap or something) so she had a bad dating stigma attached to her. I forget & now cannot find the groom’s name. He’s some businessman in a construction firm but it had been reported earlier that he worked in the apparel company business NOT to mention PREVIOUS rumors that her big break up from a year or so ago (which was actually with this guy) was with some random comedian which was obviously not true either. Basically, a nobody is who he is. She’s such a crazy private person we might not ever really know! hahahaaaaa

People in the media are mean! I mean I love watching them but when they get too harsh, it just makes me eh at them.
I believe that if she’s truly happy with the person she’s with no matter if they’re married or not, then it should be fine! When couples get married so quickly, its stupid. That why our divorce rate is high! LOL~

Speaking of her, I actually got to see both her photobooks in person, I was surprised at how small they were, most pictures make them see HUGE. But they were nice books nonetheless (~savingupfortheyushirotaphotobook~). I definitely like the post work out outfit.

Congratulations to her! Well, some people may take a long time to find someone they can actually get married with. I think the Japanese entertainment is being a bit mean on calling her a ” unmarried loser” She’s just a successful woman who can live on her own without the help of a man. I don’t see any problem with that!
I thought the picture was from her cute Pure CM where she’s a bride and her groom runs off with another man, but I can’t find it anywhere on YT so maybe I’m just mis-remembering. Anyway, I’m happy for her. I can’t wait to see what she wears on her wedding day. I wonder if she’ll go traditional or not…

Seriously! I think everyone was expecting something big after all that mainenece, but what can you do. I really want a long over sized t-shirt dress like you have for wearing with leggings as well. Comfy cool after work/class clothes. :3 Recently I’ve gotten into the habit of changing into comfy clothes when I’m home for the day…so I’m just learning about room wear fashion. Hahaha (I used to always be day clothes –> pajamas!)
Yea I think room wear is smart because you can be comfy without feel dumpy or like you’re not trying which makes me feel pathetic and blah blah it’s a slippery slope! Haahaa! So I like feel fashionable-ish but could still fall asleep in it if I really wanted to

Exactly! The line for me is if I feel comfortable walking down the apartment in it it’s roomwear, if not it’s pajamas. Usually I just end up sleeping in my “roomwear” though haha.

Wow married?! WOW! Who ever’s marrying Rinka is a very lucky man haha. Is he famous? Urgh, that’s so terrible that the media is like that. Asian media is especially bad about those kinds of things! Just because you’re sad about a break up does not mean you’re a loser. Geez, they’re so harsh!
my anthropology prof was telling us about how the Japanese people have specific ages for school, marriage, children etc… I guess the media just wanted to reinforce that :/ I remember the professor telling us about how there’s a saying of how “women are like christmas cakes” nobody wants them after the 25th (referring also to the age of 25) but I’m sure it’s slightly better now (I hope).

I actually read some articles a few years ago that discussed how there’s been a backlash and there are a lot of over 30 unmarried women now who chose to not get married or married women who chose not to have children hence their declining birth rate. The media has really been trying to reinforce the idea of marriage & children now.
Wow! Rinka getting married!!! I’m so happy for her. So what if she’s in her 30’s and not married that doesn’t make her a loser, i think certain cultures just have a set idea of what age a woman should get married and have kids.
