ekiLove is, well, LOVE!

I received the most wonderful gift from the very lovely Eki this week! Full of surprises and trinkets! Eki is the owner of EkiLove, an online jewelry shop with princess themed deco items, handmade!

Everything came wrapped in adorable pink boxes and ribbon~

ekiLove

Crystal Collagen Q10 Eye Mask
I’ve never used these before but they’re definitely something I could benefit from! I get the worst dark circles under my eyes! :!: I’ll give them a try tonight or tomorrow night.

Eki actually sells these as well here at her site! She also includes them with the nail stickers as a free gift with every order right now

Nail art stickers! Endlessly useful and cute!

My Beauty Diary Face Masks
I really like these masks! I bought a box of them a few months ago and have completely used them up! I actually already used one from Eki to help soothe my sunburn after last weekend’s beach get away! What I love about these masks is how they are packaged on a plastic sheet. It makes them really easy to unfold and put on

Delicious Sanrio candies!

The little bow is for holding your hair back when doing makeup!
Well, I’m sure you could just wear it as cuteness too, but it’s just like my current black one I bought a while ago for doing my makeup at the office only the bow is MUCH cuter!

See how fugly my original one was!? And SO often I’d be doing my makeup in the mornings at my desk & coworkers would walk into my cubicle and I’d have this bizarre black box in my hair!! Now I can just play it off as a super cute hair accessory when they walk in on me doing my makeup in the mornings! LOL
Because I WON’T stop doing my makeup at work~
Stays fresher longer if I do it POST TRAIN RIDE

Everything below are handmade items you can find at ekiLove!

It includes an adorable ribbon headband made from a floral print Japanese fabric. Eki recently did a post featuring both the headband and the necklace she sent me! My photos don’t do them justice whatsoever, but I’ll do my best!

There’s also a beautiful necklace~ I love this necklace so much I squealed when I opened the box! IT’S PERFECTION! I was actually looking at a necklace with a key last weekend but talked myself out of it, haahaa! So to get this soon after was like… destiny! HAH!

You can find her headbands for sale here!

Freshwater Pearl flower earrings!
These have such a sweet and almost antique feel to them! I’m going to wear them to work tomorrow
They actually come in a couple of different colors and you can get them here at ekiLove!

Hime Necklace!
It’s so, so pretty! Especially in the sunlight like in the above photo
I really like the length a lot too for a charm necklace. It sits high enough that it’s visible and doesn’t get totally lost in the neckline of clothing. *_*

Thank you again sweet Eki
This assortment of such lovely items really made my day… no, my week!

The hime necklace looks really pretty! I don’t have very many gold necklaces as almost all my necklaces are silver. Too bad they’re currently sold out right now. I hope she will restock them soon.

Her other necklaces are quite lovely as well, but I AM particularly found of this design! I used to only wear silver for the LONGEST time because my Mom only wore silver and trashed talked gold jewelry like crazy when I was a kid. But in college I really fell in love with the look of gold accessories and so now I have a little of both.

Oh wow~ these are all lovely items! I’ve got a similar heart pendant, . I love love the head band, it’s so summery and floral. Btw, I have a question for you. I’ve been meaning to purchase a golden half camera, but I’m also considering getting a fujifilm instax. I’m kinda torn on which one to choose. I’m interested in your opinion

I grew up loving polaroid (and instant cameras) but I’m sorta biased these days because I find 35mm film SOOO much easier to buy & cheaper per shot than any instant film. So I’d go with Golden Half just due to costs.

Uwaa~ Everything is so cute! Especially that headband! It looks like it has a nice vintage feel to it, yet it still seems to hold a kind of modern style, no? Ps, I have those Usahana candies, and they are good. now I use the tin to hold the UPC codes from Tetley tea boxes (I’m such an old granny, saving UPC codes for a teapot) :3

jenny said
August 9, 2010 @ 3:00 pm

Oh yes! Vintage but modern with the shape of the bow & layering!

I didn’t know Tetley did that! O_O!! I might have to switch tea brands

Cassandra said
August 9, 2010 @ 10:13 pm

I just rechecked the website and apparently they don’t do teapots anymore… my Mum & Nana both managed to get one! Guess i’ll have to nick theirs then~ Now they have tea caddys & cannisters. I think a tea caddy would be good for carting around tea when traveling

jenny said
August 10, 2010 @ 7:06 pm

I used to bring teas with me on travel and actually when I was at the beach last week I was sad that I DIDN’T do that anymore!

So that’s what that bow is! My room mate from the first guest house I stayed in always had that bow on the floor by her bed (she obviously wasn’t using it) and I had no idea what it could be used for haha!
The hime necklace is really beautiful.
Such a wonderful surprise ね~

That’s so sweet of you! I used to do package swapping a lot to be honest. Now I still think I can but when it comes down to it I really lose track of time & suck at sending out mail so I feel bad ;_;

Yeah I just went over to check out her sites and everything is just too cute and lovely.

I’m curious to see how big the earrings are relative to the size of a person’s ear. Could you please take a picture of yourself wearing the earrings, if you have the chance?

jenny said
August 9, 2010 @ 9:33 pm

Sure! I’ll try to get this tomorrow & post it here for you! They’re about the size of a US Dime coin.

No worries! I don’t get much commenting done these days with everything (work, study, packing.) I’m a pure RSS reader who tries to remember to go back & comment but a lot of times it just doesn’t happen for me, esp. lately~ X( You haven’t been your usual self? Well hope things get better in that case! No comment pressure I’m just happy knowing ppl still read!
