Back From the Beach

but still a bit burned on my shoulders 
I’m back! Well I’ve been back but things got randomly busy. :F My camera broke on vacation, but should be fixed now 
There were big color blurs on nearly every picture… so a lot of photos got completely ruined. *sigh* 
I’ll share the ones that came out OK (though you can still see it sometimes LOL 
)
PLEASE DON’T LET THAT HAPPEN IN JAPAN! 
I’m bringing my old camera on the trip as BACKUP!
I had a really bad back spasm last night too. It’s mostly in my neck & shoulder. It happens every once in a while and I’m left stiff as a board and in severe pain! It takes a good few days to really work its way out. All I can do is wait, pop pain pills, apply icy hot, and do other various things that don’t really help. So I’ll be taking it easy this weekend now, I guess I wanted to go out and see Hubble 3D after Lorik mentioned it
Last night I just sat up straight on the couch and watched KICKASS with Mike. Sleeping is the worst. Having to sleep straight on my back, slightly elevated. Blegh.
OK, OK, enough moaning! Some photos!!
We got here early afternoon so we had the place to ourselves! Usually it’s SLAMMED!
I was craving something like this BADLY!
I’ve hated pretzels & even chocolate covered pretzels my entire life…
until recently….! 
I blame the 100 calorie packs of Mister Salty! I can’t stop eating them now!
Chcolate covered preztels are my boom without a doubt right now! So when I sw these I HAD to get some! Theres:
Death by chocolate Triple chocolate Butter ToffeeThey had about 8 different kinds at the candy shop!
But after coming back from the beach & showering I FORGOT TO REAPPLY sunscreen! So my shoulders are still a bit burned. Thank god my daily moisturizer has sunscreen so my face only got a tiny bit pink.

I did get one of the headbands actually! Good guess!! The campfire blast is soooooooooo good! Usually I get oreo but this one was way better

Ouch :( I twisted/pulled my neck muscle before, so I know the pain. Hope you’ll recover soon. Deep fried oreos! I’m so curious about them. It’s one of those things I want to try but never got the chance to. Fried ice cream is also on my list of “must tries”. Funny how I just had crabs today. I’m actually indifferent about them, but since my aunt form China is here to visit (Crabs or seafood in general is extremely expensive in China), we decided to have them.
Oh fried ice cream is QUITE delicious as well!!

Glad you had fun! The burns not so great :p Just invest in a nice big aloe plant. I looove aloe. You have made me even hungrier for crabs! And don’t you wish we had a sonic closer to us?? Argh.
I think where you got your pretzels I had gotten some chocolate covered strawberries before. They were HUGE and oh so delicious.
I hope you got boardwalk fries and helped feed the hungry seagulls. LOL.

Chocolate covered pretzels are the best! I make them every couple of months and my friends just eat them up.

And I’m sorry about your sunburn :( It always sucks when that happens, hope it heals soon! (And OMG deep fried oreos–just had deep fried avacado and deep fried cheesecake recently… deep fried is heaven! Artery-clogging heaven!)

This is a very odd question but how do you get your hair into a bun like that? whenever I do mine it never works out the way yours has. Yours looks very cute
First I put it in a high ponytail, then I take a 1inch section of it and spray it with some hairspray and then immediately tease/backcomb the crap outta it!! Like a huge puffy mess worth! I do that to about 4 sections. Then I fold it under & around and pin each section with a bobby pin. Takes about 4 or 5 bobby pins for the entire do.

It’s like some major food porn going on here, lol. I’ve heard about the deep fried oreos, but I’ve never seen/tasted them before. Looks a lot different from what I had imagined. And that donut looks superb.
Hope you get better soon. My mom gets back spasm too and she usually uses eagle brand oil to help make it go away the next day. It works pretty well for her.

I saw a chiropractor back in college when I had lower back problems. Probably the worst mistake ever since they’re the reason why my shoulder spasms now :(. I never had shoulder pain until I went through 3 months of treatment with them ;_; I sorta don’t trust chiropractors anymore =Y

I have the same thing happen to me! It attacks my neck. I thought I was the only one! It happened once after I woke up and I assume I must have slept funny. I turned to the right and I felt all the muscles in my neck lock up and I couldn’t move. I nearly vomited from the pain :/
I’m really paranoid about it going again. Whenever I get a slight twinge I move positions straight away and take the strain off my neck immediately. I hope you feel better soon. You’re right: there is no cure is there? I hope the days pass by fast for you.

Hi Jenny~ I’ve been reading your blog since the past few years (^.^) and this is really off topic from your recent post but I’m thinking of getting contact lenses and it’s my first time any advice you could give me on what to do and what not to do?
Oh and I was thinking between Geo Nudy or Geo Angel, it’s my first time picking out one and these are the only selection available near me. I want that big eye effect look but doesn’t seem too out of this world rather more on the natural side.
Since you’ve been using different lovely contacts I thought of who else but you to ask about it.

Well for my first pair of contacts I went to my eye doctor because I needed prescription versions so wearing circle lenses were a bit easier for me. I’d really recommend going to an eye doctor, just to get the low down on how to maintain/clean/insert/take out contacts. I’ve known a few girls who’ve never worn contacts before but bought circle lenses and couldn’t manage to even get them in. =Y

Is the Geo brand your only option? I only ask because they’re my least favorite brand in terms of comfort. The Geo Nudys are slightly more comfortable than Geo Angels. I can only wear them a few hours before needing to take them out. My favorite brand is Barbie brand because I wear them for hours and they’re quite comfortable. What color are your eyes? If brown then you can choose any color you like but if you have lighter colored eyes choose the Geos wisely. You’ll want to get something that blends into your green or blue eyes better
Lastly, because this is your first pair of lenses, your eye will feel a little discomfort when you first start to wear them. Like something’s in your eye. But it shouldn’t burn or sting! So if they do take them out immediately.
