Useless Gachapon

I wanted to do some fun eye candy 
only posts for Christmas so I’ll finish out my Japan trip photos! There aren’t too many left (that are interesting imo, haha!) 
Ok let’s do gachagacha! I don’t usually get a lot of these because I don’t often carry any on my blackberry. But I ended up getting more than my previous trip. 
I got the flushing toilet one, just because I had heard they existed & were lols. But! Buuut! I actually used this one way more than I’d like to confess *fuckin embarrassing* In public restrooms I heard other girls using the flush button or key-chain flush sounds too. 
I started feeling it would be rude of me NOT to use it! Too bad Japanese toilets sound so bizarrely different from US ones or else I could still use it, haahaaaa! 
Another favorite is the Momoeri nailart strap!
Momoeri has the most random shit out, it’s awesome! 
Rilakkuma, Mickey Cafe, Dayan, a light-up firefly, and Mister Donut

A special Peach John x Sanrio strap available in stores only.
This is one that plays the station stop melody. *_* I was hoping for other ones besides the Tokyo stop since I’m not very familiar with that chime~~
Actually there have been US gachapon for a while now. Not counting the old school ones with The Flintstones. 
I mean gachapon full of straps and figures! The mall near me has a whole bunch with stuff that must just be repackaged Japanese versions. 
I got a few Snoopy themed ones! One is Snoopy in sorta space kigurumi. The other is him inside a water-filled ball! It looked bigger on the machine *poo* I got it and was like I NEED A MICROSCOPE TO SEE SNOOPY! Geezus.
I have the worst luck with these actually. I always get the only 1 I don’t want. Murphy’s Law or just plain cursed.
These aren’t gachapon but just cell phone straps. My friend’s little brother gave them to me as a gift! When I get a new phone I’ll get a nice case with a loop for charms and put these on instantly. Right now the BB case I have that holds charms is really annoying and thick. They look like real chips! Especially the sour cream & onion one. Remind me of the fat free pringles I eat.

some of you asked where I got the heart hanger from my last post. 
Well I got them in Tokyo (sorry!) At some 390 yen shop or something random. It wasn’t a 100 yen shop so it had slightly better goods! They were a bitch to get home but I really wanted them. They’re even felted! :haha:

Yeah it’s to “cover” the sounds of, um, going to the bathroom! Almost all the toilets have a flushing sound button already

I love playing gachapon! Used to do it weekly but I’ve slowed down now. I usually play anime ones and Disney ones~~

Isn’t the cat one insane!? It was the first one I got and it was mixed in with soft cat paws so of course I got le anus kitteh haahaa

EVERYTHINGGGGG! There was stuff she promoted all over but the gachapon was one of the most random. There was another version but it was just like a round ball with her logo on it, sorta boring.

LOL at the cat butt and the flushing toilet. I got a Mister Donut when I was in Japan. Actually, I got it so that I would remind myself to step away from Mister Donut stores. I just keep wanting to get donuts. I remember eating at Mos Burger too! The first day I was in Japan, at the time, I didn’t like sushi or tempura or anything that had raw stuff in it. I didn’t even like noodles. I know, something was wrong with me. LOL
Anyway, I stopped by Mos Burger and I thought the burgers were going to be huge. LOL I should’ve known. Although, I did enjoy the rice patty. It was an interesting burger.
Now all I ever want to eat is Japanese food T-T I regret not having spoiled myself with delicious food. Hahahaha! I want to get a flushing toilet gachapon now. That way when I am in the restroom, I can scare off a few students at school

Mister Donut donuts are a total crave! There’re so many flavors and types omg!!! You just find yourself wandering back in over & over o_o;;;
Gachapons are my favourite things to get in Asia! I always end up, no jokes, with a suitcase full of these when I come back from my trips to Hong Kong!
My display cases are FILLED with them!

I CAN TOTALLY BELIEVE THAT!!!! You buy one, then another, then ANOTHER and it becomes a quest! I try really hard not to buy too many because I don’t “use” them currently. :(

I only decided to use my yen wisely at Kapibara-san ones - otherwise I would of been very very broke by now!

The cellphone charms are so adorable. I wish we have gachapon here. There isn’t any places that sell cute cellphone charms near me :/. Japan always have the cutest stuff. I wanna go shopping there one day.

upstate don’t you get to take them more often? right now, i live in the south and we have no semblance of a train haha its depressing. i fell in love with them when i lived in s.korea for a bit. sighhh :B
I remembered I had one of these that was a box of curry. The curry blocks could slide out partially. What happened to it? Oh well. The nail one is the funniest to me. The cat one I want to put pants or a leaf or something on. I have to look away!

omg i’m addicted to gachapon…i think its the element of surprise although i’m often met with disappointment (hard to get the one you want!!)

I own a manekineko with a braided(?) leather-strap, but the bell was driving everyone crazy, so I took off the neko and left the strap.

Cute items that you got! I own so many cellphone charms myself too but I never actually use them because I’m paranoid with getting them dirty and old looking, hahaha. I’m also afraid that it might scratch up my phone too since I don’t have a case for my phone. :(

the only gachapon machines here are in uwajimaya and they’re usually hello kitty or pokemon lolll i spent so much money trying to get all of the pokemon i wanted but noooo i got all the ugly ones …

I had a phase back in the UK when I tried to collect all the Winnie the pooh kigurumi ones, because he was dressed as hamsters etc. I don’t even like WIP o.O
Kigurumi ones always get me! Idkw, there’s something about a character dressed as another character that is just DOUBLE PLEASING!

haha the flushing noise. they have those in some of the bathrooms here, like boxes mounted to the wall that you can use but…i don’t OFTEN hear girls using them, i think. either way, i’m just like “ok you know i’m in the bathroom, you know what i’m doing. i don’t care enough to try to cover it up SORRY 8D”
That’s how I felt originally. Like more embarrassed TO use the flushing sound. But after a while I realized everyone but me was using them in public bathrooms and I felt so N00B TOURIST LADY that I started using it and loved it. I didn’t use it at all my first trip there but I didn’t find myself in public restrooms as often then either ;_;
