The good people over at Shoppingholics.com wanted to sponsor two pairs of gray lenses for me to review! :excitedyo: They include Max Pure Gray and the Adult Series Gray. Both EOS brand. They arrived in a super secure bubble-wrapped parcel with 2 sets of adorable animal-shaped contact lens cases and a bonus face mask! The lenses were also wrapped up in 2 tiny, padded gift boxes! Adorable packaging! And so secure :)
OK, onto the review of the two lenses~~ :D

I have the Max Pure Brown so I was excited to try the gray! :star2: I’m really happy with them! They blend evenly with my light eye color creating a darker gray outer ring. They’re also as comfortable as my Max Pure Brown lenses. I can wear these easily without much need for re-wetting eyedrops. :good: They’re thin and don’t dry out too easily and are, again, quite comfortable. And at 14.5 the enlarging effect is easily seen. :fleetheart:

I’ve been eying this series for sometime now. :headheart: They’re really beautiful and I was hoping they were light enough to blend into my natural eye color. I was a bit weary about the blending though. :F Unfortunately they’re a bit too opaque to blend and they create that hard edge color break. :down:
Google these lenses though and you’ll see lots of images of how beautiful they look on darker eyes!! Also I was surprised at how thick these were. They’re probably the thickest EOS brand I’ve tried. I don’t find them to be very comfortable either. :facepalmcry: They feel a bit like GEO brand to me and I can only wear them for an hour or two at a time. They seem to dry fairly quickly on me too and I was using eyedrops quite often with these. I think if you find GEO brand comfortable and have dark eyes these would be great :P The store is currently out of the Adult Gray but they do have the Adult Violet for sale!
I actually wore these out at night so no natural light; flash used instead which really shows the color break. :facepalmcry: :ng: It’s less obvious in natural lighting but still there. :eep: These look nicer on dark eyes instead.
Shoppingholics has tons more lenses and you’re able to select different prescription strengths for each eye and they also carry some Mellish, Dolly Wink, and Diamond Lash goods! :ureshii: You can find them on Facebook too~

I just spent like a whole night looking for circle lenses and ended up buying the Geo Angel Brown. And then I felt kinda regret coz my eyes are reeeeeally brown, maybe I should have bought the grey ones coz they would still look natural on brown eyes…
Anyway… that’s that. I really love how adult violet ones turned out on your natural eye color. Just wondering which circle lens brand do you like best? -
Loving the Max Pure Gray on you!
I love the dark rim on the edge~ They really bring out the enlarging effect and makes your eyes stand out SO SO MUCH! ^_^ It’s awesome that most circle lenses have dark rims nowadays and I always love the effect! It makes the eyes look so much more natural!
Not such a fan of Adult Gray particularly because it doesn’t look as natural on eyes.

so since you have a light eye color like me, i’d like to ask you if you have ever bought brown circle lenses from geo and how did they match with your eyes? i want to order some lenses from that brand soon, but i’m not sure how the brown ones cover my light eyes..ShuShu ♥

These are two lenses I’ve wanted to try for a long time. I’ve always hesitated on the adult series because I was worried they’d look too opaque. I really like how the gray looks slightly purple though~ It’s a shame they don’t show up well on your eyes. D:
I might try the max pure grays in the future! I also have the max pure browns, and I have to agree they’re super comfortable. :)

I had NO idea circle lenses came with prescription strengths. *feels dumb* I may have to try this this year then because I’ve always wanted to and never thought I could because I wear prescription contacts.

I agree, the first lenses definitely blend with your natural eye color more nicely! ^_^ And I also have a quick question! You said that you rewet your lenses with eyedrops, but when you’re wearing false lashes, do they tend to peel off? I always have this problem when I’m putting circle lenses in with my lashes already on… Is there a better way to do this? D:

I LOVE the MAX PURE GRAY on you! Just like you said, they are super natural looking with just a little bit of “drama”. :) The ADULT ones look…strange, to be honest?? Not nearly as flattering as your other contacts. :X
