Obligatory self-indulgent BIRTHDAY POST here!

Today has been a bit crazy but everything worked out in the end.

I slept for 12 hours, I’ve been so exhausted lately you know?! Then went out and had a gumbo & beignet lunch at my favorite southern restaurant Louisiana Kitchen. Then got 2 needles jabbed into my ears followed by dessert in the form of bingsoo at my favorite yogurt place, Caliyo!

So I had mentioned trying to choose what I wanted to do for my birthday, well I got both the new perm & cut and Mike wanted to take me to get another set of earlobe piercings as his gift to me! Actually I feel him leaving work early for my birthday was the bigger gift. It’s really hard to get him to take off work, lol, he’s a total workaholic and he always finds a reason NOT to take time off. So I really appreciated that.

New earrings! I can start wearing them in about 3 weeks the piercer said as long as I leave them in~~

Studs from Betsey Johnson! Aren’t they the prettiest mix & match set!!??? I can’t wait until I can wear these I love how simple they are but really romantic too.

New haircut & perm~
I actually did this last week… since the perm has to set for 48 hours I didn’t want greasy hair ON my actual birthday. This is my second body perm, I had that first one back in November. I need to take a better photo now that I can finally wear my contacts again. My allergies ended as soon as the trees finished blooming!! yaaay LOL. My hair is a bit shorter this time around.
