gorgeous gloss in person, transparent but still quite pigmented

Lately I wanted to try vibrant red lips again. I haven’t tried it in many years because I always felt it looked bad on me. I wanted MAC’s Russian Red but I couldn’t get used to it. It was too bold to me. So instead I bought Yves Saint Laurent’s Gloss Pur in Pure Redcurrant. It’s a mango-scented, sheer strawberry red. I’ve wanted an YSL gloss for a long time. I used to never finish lip glosses so I banned myself from buying high brand ones. But in recent years I’ve gotten better at finishing whole tubes. Still, I need to remember to reapply throughout the day after eating. It’s something I try to remember so I don’t waste makeup.

I sometimes like to mix it with the ParaDo red lipgloss my friend gave me. It has small flecks or red glitter but isn’t very pigmented on its own.
