Embroidered Tunic from Saturday

Monday, September 19th, 2011 | 48 Comments

I got this new tunic from Monab on Yesstyle. It has this beautiful embroidered area and a ribbon tie in the back!  It’s such a sweet and natural style piece. I wore it out to Georgetown Saturday. Though it could easily be more of a spring time piece I paired it with my crop faux fur-trim military jacket. I wanted to wear sandals with it but it was SO COLD that day I went with Minnetonka moccasins

An image of the back taken from the Yesstyle.com page.

The embroidery reminds me of Oktoberfest = autumn feeling hahaha.

So precious! I love the sweet embroidery details and your outfit. Like a mix of folksy and chic street style.

Its cold there? I’m sooo jealous. Its only cold at like 6 in the morning when I walk to school. Then it becomes increasingly hot.

Yeah this weekend was but it’s warming up again now but we’ll see. It’s hard to tell. The weather this year is very out of the ordinary so not very predictable.

That tunic is so cute! I think it would be really easy to wear it in the summer and fall. The white floaty-ness of it is great for the summer, but the embroidery looks so warm and fall-ish. Does that make sense? haha~

Love the way you coordinated it~

I know right D: I feel lucky I can get my hands on something similar or else I’d 1: go mad, 2: go mad & start paying triple price for importing LOL

That top is super cute! I especially like the capped sleeves and sash in the back. I can’t believe it’s cool enough you can already wear a jacket, there though. DD:

I love your blog. Getting caught up now~

I know this post is about the tunic but gosh I love your satchel! lol It was the first thing that caught my eye! Gorgy! Though the tunic is lovely too! =D

Do you have afternoon tea places in your area? I think you’d love it!

jenny said
September 20, 2011 (4 weeks ago) @ 11:17 am

Hahaha thanks. Yeah I use it daily I’ve fallen so in *love* with it

Sadly no, we don’t really have tea places like that around here. The ones we do have focus more on green teas which I do enjoy visiting but they serve items like dumplings and sushi.

Oh gosh that’s so cute!! I love the moccasins too!

How is Yesstyle’s shipping? Does stuff come pretty quickly? I keep wanting to order things through them but then I’m not sure how long I’ll have to wait for them…

jenny said
September 20, 2011 (4 weeks ago) @ 11:19 am

It varies on whether or not the items are in stock. Once everything is ready the shipping is very quick. I get it within 3 days. However if the item is not in stock (1-2 days) and says something like *ships within* - “2-3 weeks” or “21 days” it will definitely be much longer.
