Summer Made an Appearance!

So hot yesterday & today! I was so happy! Bright and sunny
I laid out for an entire hour yesterday. I’m a little red but it’s only mild so my translucent skin should hopefully enjoy that dose of Vitamin D.

We went to Bethesda and had lunch at Louisiana Kitchen and Bayou Bar yesterday. It was fantastic! I wore a new tee from YesStyle. I really like this tee. It’s oversized and the material isn’t thin like most t-shirts I have. I don’t get that, most Tees you HAVE to layer or else you can see straight through them. This “LOVE” tee is extremely opaque without being too thick! So it kept me nice and cool

The hat’s from YesStyle too! It says HTML on it… YOU CAN NOT IMAGINE HOW BADLY I NEEDED THIS HAT! Being a web developer it’s perfection! Hahahaha, plus it’s a cute color!

I got really busy when working at home today that I didn’t even think about lunch until I was staaarving. So instead I just grabbed an amino collagen jelly pack. I LOVE these. Only 33kcal and it’s flavored with rose hip. I LOVE rose hip teas so this jelly was really surprisingly good! I thought at 33kcal it would be blander than bland but it’s quite rich in rose hip flavor! If you haven’t tasted rose hip, I’ll tell you it tastes basically how roses smell, haha

Surprise cookies Mike brought me!

Look at these cookies!!?? It uses the theme of the Owl and the Pussycat! So sweet of him to see these (at Starbucks apparently) and think of me! The box is super adorable too! I’m gonna keep it for trinkets or something . Haven’t tasted them yet, I plan to with a cappuccino or tea after blogging.

And it’s good I only had 33kcal for lunch because guess what random place we got dinner from tonight….

So I went to Forever21 looking for this hairbow

Of coooooooourse they didn’t freakin’ have it. But did I just turn around and leave??? NO OF COURSE NOOOOT! I got caught up in shopping and bought all this crap

Though I have to admit I got actual outfits for once! Tops AND bottoms. Great basics and such.
Plus I couldn’t help but get this fantastic dress!

It’s so pretty and makes my boobs look small (which I need b/c I’m crazy top heavy OK ) I can’t wait till spring 100% arrives. Or better yet summer. Of course when I’m melting I’ll be all “omfg when does christmas arrive I need snow damnit!” hahahaa

Also I finally got more of my favorite hairspray from Sephora.

I can fall asleep in this stuff and wake up still will styled curls! It stands up really well to crappy nonstop winds too (had to find that out the annoying way last week, hahaa.)

That all said… I want to stop buying clothes :whaaaaaat:
It’s easy to say that and then I turn around and buy shit! I just want to save & save again like last year so I can go back to Japan ASAP :bai:. But I have money I can spend so there’s not this ACTUAL REASON for me NOT to spend. I know that sounds whiny and very “oh boo-hoo pity-party” but I’ve said many times already that I’m not going to buy any more clothes and then I turn around and find something I just HAVE to have. I’ve been having to buy new 20 packs of hangers on a monthly basis… I think I’m GOOD on clothes.

SO. Tonight I bought things I felt I needed. Another pair of jean shorts, sheer basic white tee, basic colored fitted tanks~ I’m gonna work hard to get back to the habit of only buying a few things here and there and not going on these FULL ON SHOPPING ADVENTURES. Mike of course is of no help. He thinks as long as I’m not out buying Marc Jacobs or Prada weekly then we’re good. But I want to change b/c it’ll make me happy. Plus I haven’t enough hours in the day to wear the stuff I’ve bought in the past year! Hahahaha

Ok I’ll stop here. I feel I’m coming off a bit doucey, HAHAHA I probably just feel this way because I did big spending on my birthday, followed by my friend’s visit, followed by this week. So I just feel I’m going overboard but I’m probably not~
