Target Run and Random Chat

Sunday, June 13th, 2010 | 69 Comments

Ahhhhhhh it’s already Sunday, nuuuuuuuuuuuuuh
It’s raining a lot more today than yesterday so I’ve given up for now and have retreated inside after going on a coffee & Target run earlier this morning. I also beat Kirby 64 today! WHOOT! Now I’m gonna start on re-beating Yoshi’s Story for the 10th time

Yesterday I made the mistake of of going shopping after hating everything in my closet.
It went something like this:

  1. Tried on about 10 outfits but wasn’t happy with any of them (for the 90 degree weather )
  2. Bummed out, I went to get some froyo and walk around
  3. It started raining on us so I agreed walking around in the mall would be a superb idea!
  4. Walked into Zara “JUST TO LOOK” (fail idea again, lol)
  5. Of course walked out with Zara purchases in hand! FAIL $ SAVING, HAHAHA!

I should know better than to window shop after feeling like I hate everything in my closet! hahahahaa!
BUT. I do give myself some credit. :good: I tried on about 20 items and loved all of them but only bought 2 pieces! TWO PIECES THAT MAKE AN OUTFIT TOO! So at least I stuck with my mantra of ONLY buying outfits :good:

The flip-flops are from Target’s $1.00 4th of July bin! I got a pair for my friend too~ I always send her the July 4th Target goods!! Last year they had those “BORN IN THE USA” socks I sent her! She wore them to work and said all her coworkers found them so cute & funny

Target run!
Sneaker socks and insoles for my cowboy boots. I really want to wear my boots more but they need insoles. They have really solid soles and hurt to walk in after a few hours. I tend to buy insoles for all my shoes though, my feet are pussies I guess! Also I walk more than ever before. I love to just walk for hours~~

Also saw this “Blister Defense” stuff! Hummmmmm, I’m skeptical but I’m willing to try it! Gonna test it out tomorrow by wearing some really stiff plastic high heels I have that almost always cause me blisters, ha!

Then I bought the new Nivea Good-Bye Cellulite Serum. I was there to buy some more of my NIVEA My Silhouette! Firming Gel. I did a short review of it last year and still love it! But it takes 4 weeks where as this serum claims results in 1 week. *_* OK, I said! LET’S TRY IT OUT! It of course recommends using it with the counterpart Good-Bye Cellulite Gel but I’m going to stick with using the My Silhouette because I know I like it. The serum doesn’t smell as lovely as the firming gel, it smells like hair gel IMO, so I’ll apply the serum at night (to my thigh’s saddlebags if you must know, ) and the My Silhouette in the mornings. I’ll let ya know if I think it ramps up the “firming” process

By the way, I don’t know WHY NIVEA still has the “NEW” label on the My Silhouette Gel…. marketing ploy? Because it’s been out for more than a year. Just saying~~~~~~~~~~

コーデSNAP!

Dress: H&M
Lace Cardigan: Catworld at Yesstyle
Belt: Forever 21
Boots: JCPenney
Tights: H&M
Lace Cami: Used

Sunday is fail, no Sunday snaps, hahahaha!

I picked up the July issue of Popteen~~ Wanted to share some things….

They did a lot of extra profile pages this issue, to cover not only Popteen models but their Popteen “Girls” too. 神田笑花 (Emihamu) who goes by username Emihamham had a cute page! She’s easily recognizable if you follow the Cute TV Blog! She has an Ameblo Blog here but also a new Gals Pop blog over at Popteen too though mostly the Popteen blogs are repetitive from the girls’ original blogs. :F She also has a twitter apparently cute_emihamham ahahaa! Aaaand she has a CROOZ Blog here!

FULL SCAN

FROM CUTE TV!

FULL SCAN

They did a page on girls’ and their boyfriends and they included her and her boyfriend! D’AAAAAAAAW SO CUTE!

Lastly~ these overalls from COLU are GLORIOUS!!!!!

ZOMGGGGGGGGG yes! Way cuter than leaving one side unhooked! I WANT THESE! They come in lots of colors too~ so pretty

It’s raining over here where I live too! It sucks because I actually want to go out and do stuff. =(

Wow, is that a half overall? The yellow one that Nana is wearing is SUPER cute!

I ordered my first cocolulu overall using Rina’s shopper service a month ago. I ordered this pink one here:

http://www.exiv.co.jp/10070/10103/14604/21119/index.html

However, I haven’t got a chance to wear it yet because I’m still trying to find some tops to go with it.

You make me want to go shopping! I tried those exact shorts on at Zara but I convinced myself to NOT buy it because I was telling myself it didn’t look good on me and I was trying to save money. haha I’m still tempted to go back for it though lol. Looks too cute especially the way you matched it with the shirt! I still need to buy a pair of overalls though.

Your makeup looks great! You look so cute as usual.

Ah yea! I actually think it’s in my RSS reader. I’ve thought about getting an account (like lookbook) but I think it’ll just be 1 more thing I would end up not having time to update. I already don’t have time to stay active with my formspring & poupee girl accounts =Y

OMG the Dr Scholl’s blister defense works magic! My friends and I went to a ball recently, and we were all wearing 3-4 inch heels, but once we rolled the blister defense over trouble areas, it was like our feet entered heaven or something — it was so comfortable! A friend who has sensitive feet needed to reapply it nearly every hour, though, so I don’t suggest leaving the house without it

Wooo~! Target run! That’s great ^^ I like the practical items you bought, I can’t leave without spending money on unnecessary items haha. I don’t bother with cellulite creams, but I’m interested if this item can do anything. Frankly I can’t imagine your thighs having saddle bags or cellulite, so perhaps you are not the best test subject haha!

Oh you look super beautiful! I think your hair looks great and your makeup is perfect!

Thank you so much for sharing the info about Emihamham. I’ve loved her style and look for awhile, but I didn’t really know anything about her.

omg. Those are the cutest purchases! I have been hitting Zara for the past few times I went shopping too! Love their Spring collection! But they are so pricey. I am really proud of myself. I went in at least twice, tried on 2 occasions, but left without buying anything!

I love your lace cardi too! I shouldn’t be looking at your blog. Makes me want to go shopping again! AGAIN!

Love the way your hair-make combination looks in your outfit snap picture (the outfit is cute too!). OMG I want to run to target to get those flip flops!!

Did you look at the ingredients on the blister defense stick? I have the one made by band-aid and I got annoyed after reading the ingredients (which I only bothered to do after buying). It’s just scented vegetable oil! It does work though (my feet get a little red in blister-prone spots but no blisters). I’m sure household vegetable oil would do the trick + could have saved me a few $$$. Oh well.

jenny said
June 14, 2010 @ 8:44 am

Hahaha really!? Well at least it’s in a portable stick and beats carrying around a bottle of veggie oil in your purse Reminds me of crisco!!

Fight!!(o^-^)尸~'’☆ミ☆ミ
Saturday outfit & make are just perfect too~ which lenses are you wearing there? & I really must try the Nivea products… Lord knows I need to firm up some spots on my thighs too, haha!
Hope to see you rocking those COLU overalls someday soon! ;D

THANK YOU D: I really appreciate your support for my savings, hahahahhaaa, seriously! I know, I think I’m doing really good but sometimes I don’t know how that really comes off in my blog just given comments in the past *cough formspring cough*

I’m wearing the Dueba MX21 in Brown! They looking different on than they do off in the case which is really neat.

Yea I SWEAR the My Silhouette smoothes out any sort pouch and unevenness and makes your skin super soft. I’m curious to see how well this new serum works though. It would be awesome if it actually tighten the skin in order to smooth out the dimples hahahahaa *high hopes*

I hope they are still selling those overalls when I’m there o___o;;;;

I don’t know how I feel about those overalls. The jean ones with 2 clasps are adorable but the 1 shoulder ones seen a bit too teenage… I love her bright scarf, though! I need something like that in my life lol.

I feel like I need to visit Zara. Though maybe not since I’m trying to save $$$ to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

please review all those products!! I have been working out lately, but I’m not seeing a difference (yet) ~I would like a product to speed up the process of tightening my thighs for swimsuit season lol

I do have some basic blue ones…but the colored ones are just so yummy! That non model girl is really cute too, she makes me love gal more haha!

and Zara is hypnotic, Ive never bought anything yet but whenever I go in there I am memorized. I love that store! I’m just not sure what I want my first purchase to be yet!
