This morning the rain was still pouring and beating against the windows. It was so gloomy.

Then later around 9am I saw the brightest day through my office windows. I couldn’t believe it. It was like the morning storm never even happened.

Then all those cheesy comparisons of how “in life” there are storms but sun will eventually “follow” came to mind. Yes. It’s cheesy. But just because it’s a downpour now doesn’t mean the sun will never shine again. And yes. I’m feeling optimistic today.
